This is one of the better batteries for the Starlink Mini that attaches directly to the terminal. It creates a completely portable system without the need for cords, etc., and provides several hours of operation. It comes with a USB-C cord but requires a user-supplied charger. You can use a normal phone charger or a higher capacity charger for a faster charge. When first received, the battery is only partly charged and won't power up via the power button. However, as soon as a charger is attached, it comes to life and start charging. There is an excellent display that shows battery voltage capacity and the estimated time to reach a full charge, among other things. There is a user manual on the peakdo.com website. It also details the use of the battery's Bluetooth web browser interface that lets you set a number of battery parameters, including shutting it down more fully for storage when the "expert" mode is selected. Restarting requires plugging it into a charger. The battery can also serve as a USB power bank to recharge other devices, even while simultaneously powering the Starlink Mini. While this will deplete the battery more quickly, it could be useful in an emergency. It is also possible to charge the battery while using it to power the Starlink terminal. Thus, if connected to a USB-C power source it should automatically switch the Starlink to the battery if the external power is lost. There are three 1/4" threaded inserts on the bottom of the battery case. This makes it easy to mount on a standard tripod. While the battery is sometimes pictured attached to a tabletop tripod, one is not included. The Starlink Mini with this battery attached will still fit into a laptop sleeve, making it easy to pack for travel. The battery capacity is apparently within that permitted to be carried on aircraft. The Starlink-supplied kickstand has to be removed to attach the battery and the Mini is not inclined at an angle with the battery attached. However, these days having the Starlink at the recommended angle is less important as the number of Starlink satellites is ever-increasing. Also, having the terminal flat is best for mobile operation since the vehicle position and direction frequently change. Starlink has recently improved the terminal's ability to quickly find and select the best satellites. Depending upon your application, you may want to use a tripod or use stick-on rubber feet for stability. There are other battery options, including ones that attach via the pipe mount adapter, and tool battery adapters. However, none of them seem as elegant as this one. Another company makes a similar battery with about twice the capacity and at about twice the price. I have seen other implementations of a battery pack for the Starlink mini and I honestly think this is the best one. it integrates right into the panel itself, so you don't have to carry a seperate battery pack just for this thing. Only real downside is that you do have to carry a tripod or something of the like since this does get rid of your ability to use the stock one, but I was already doing that anyway so not that big of a deal for me. This is great as you no longer have to worry anymore about where and how you're going to be able to power your Starlink Mini. IMO, I think Starlink themselves should have either made the Mini with a battery integrated from the factory, or made their own version of this thing. Having a battery pack really is a game changer. One use case for this thing is to have essentially a UPS for your starlink. You can get about 4-8 hours of battery life from this, so if you have this thing plugged into the wall or through a solar panel, you basically don't have to worry about your internet going down. Having the battery pack attach right to the panel itself also makes it incredibly portable. It's also able to keep up with the Starlink panel no problem. Being able to put this thing in standby mode also makes it a great backup solution to someone who wants to keep a starlink mini in a closet for emergency use only. Read more

Battery is down to 75% after just few minutes. Running it for about 1 hour and the battery is bellow 60 percent which is not how it should be. The expectation is that this battery can last for 4 hours. I I’m trying to understand if the reporting is bad or I have faulty battery. I will try to get it replaced and update my review but my first impressions are that this is overpriced and super hyped by the reviewers online who got free units and did not pay more than 180 bucks for not even LFP battery.
