These matte black shower shelves look very modern and instantly upgraded the look of my bathroom. The 304 stainless steel feels durable and rust-resistant, and the slotted design helps water drain so bottles don’t sit in puddles. Each shelf holds a good amount of weight—I’ve placed shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispensers with no issue. Installation was straightforward, though it does require drilling into tile, so you’ll need the right tools and a steady hand. At nearly $80, I find them a bit pricey for two shelves, but the quality and sleek design make them a worthwhile long-term investment if you want something stylish and heavy-duty. Read more

This is a fantastic option for those looking to add permanent shelving in their tiled bathtubs or shower stalls, but you can't simply install them in any bathroom so check the installation requirements carefully before you order. Once you've installed one of these bad boys in your shower stall, ~*smacks palm of hand on shelf*~ ~*echoes of obnoxiously loud slapping noise fade away*~ ... you simply can't go wrong. The quality is evident in both aesthetic and function. The matte black finish with smooth edges and clean lines is beautifully executed and stylistically versatile. The surface is slightly textured, so it's sufficiently grippy but still easy to clean... And their size? Ahh... ~*chef's kiss*~ .. Sweet perfection. With two of these hanging around, you'll have plenty of space for your largest and/or heaviest toiletries. And on top of all that, I doubt you'll see a speck of rust for 10-20 years at the earliest... Ahem, what was that? Oh, the price? Ahh, right, right, the price... Yes, I remember now... Indeed, this is an important matter that must be addressed. ~*clears throat*~ Okay, real talk. Yep, I get it. 'It holds stuff, it looks good'... Mhm, sure. That's cool and all... but is it "$80" cool? Well, of course not, ya dipsticks. Plenty of shelves do that stuff every day for a quarter of the cost. So then what's the jig, you ask? Indeed, folks, I'll tell ya... The secret to these shelves is alllll in that heavy-duty construction, baby. ~*smacks shelf even more obnoxiously than before*~ The way these shelves are constructed is undoubtedly their most impressive feature... They're practically indestructible. When they said each one is made entirely of 0.12" thick hardened stainless steel, they meant it, and it's pretty easy to tell just from looking at the thing, let alone picking one up (they're heavy, if you didn't know). I honestly don't think I could come anywhere close to exceeding the weight capacity of these shelves even if I tried, so you really get the maximum benefit from this storage space. That being said, the only downside to this product is how tricky installation is. You hang each shelf on the wall by sliding those four small protruding pieces into pre-cut slots, which is simply not feasible in many bathrooms and/or locations. Given how closely the shelves hug the wall all the way into the corner, they don't give you a lot of leeway either. In my bathroom, I don't actually have any tile, but my wall has slots between wood paneling so I figured it would work out one way or another. To my delight, it actually did! I had a perfect fit straight out of the box, and boy, was I glad... Considering that most people gotta bring out the angle grinder to install these, I hardly lifted a finger.... I just slapped some adhesive under the mounting pieces and called it a day. While this may sound encouraging to some of you, it shouldn't.... Yes, I'm looking at you over there... ~*nods*~ Yes, my fellow daredevils who don't shy away from a challenge... Can't you wait until I finish before getting all riled up, for goodness' sake?... Alright, quiet down, ya filthy animals, I'm about to get to the important part.... If you're thinking of winging it like me, don't. You can't guess. Sure, I guessed, and it worked out.. Look, I can't emphasize enough how lucky I got, and you probablyyy won't be so fortunate if you do the same. If you're even thinking of attempting this, you better whip out those measuring tools and triple-check every number you write down. If I had realized in advance that it was going to be such a tight fit, I would never have taken the risk. If the width or depth between the panels/trim on my wall had been off by a millimeter one way or another, I probably would've been short out of luck. And by the way... If you don't have a spot with the exact dimensions, don't even think about trying to bend it into place or break off the small mounting pieces. Yeah, remember those? Those are made of the same material and welded directly onto the main body. Trust me, you wouldn't be able to change the fit of this shelf if you ran it over with a dump truck... In short, these are basically the Rolls Royce of shelves for your shower... Unfortunately, just like a Rolls Royce, very few people are actually able to enjoy them. Why?... *scoffs* You're still asking me this?... Okay, fine. I'll be blunt, if you insist... Look, these shelves? They don't just "mesh" with ANY bathroom, okay? For at least 80% of you, there isn't even a remote possibility that you'll find one of these shelves hanging around inside your bathroom, so let's be real here... Unless it's a PERFECT fit, these shelves can't be bothered to hang around for a few seconds, let alone forever, so don't even waste your time trying... As for those select few who manage to pull it off... well, you have one lucky bathtub, son. That's all I'm gonna say about that. Believe it or not, this really is a one-and-done solution for high-end waterproof shelving. The price tag may be hefty, but you're the one out here buying a Rolls Royce. Did you expect it to be cheap or something? Read more
