I picked up the Pecron solar panel and battery combo deal for a few reasons. I wanted something to have for my long camping trips and the price was right. The larger capacity battery that comes in around 1.5kWh is a great size. It can recharge from a single 200w panel in a day if you to reposition it a few times. It isn’t overbearing to carry, stow or use. I mostly use my gear for remote work. I spent 4 days recently just working remote and relaxing in the National Forest. My diesel heater kept me warm, the Pecron kept my laptop and everything I needed powered. Video calls got questions. Worth it. Setup is simple. Attach the included adapter to a panel or series of panels. Position panel(s) in sunlight. Turn on AC or DC output and you’re off to the races. I do have a competing solution and although that one has a larger capacity… it was much more expensive, didn’t come with a panel and the battery/inverter didn’t come with anything but an AC power cord. Pecron really steps it up with the small stuff. The main unit, LFP1500, comes with cables for DC charging, AC charging, and the solar panel input cable. The other, much more expensive brand I have? Nope. I had to order those parts separately. The solar panel from Pecron has a handle! It has places designed for you to move the panel around, it has built in kickstands so you can capture photons without an add-on you have to buy. It also has grommets for hanging the panel or strapping it to a roof top tent. The other brand I have? A fabric carrying case, no where designated to handle the panels - this is important. Solar cells are easily cracked ask me how I know. The competitor panels don’t have kickstands, the cabling is wonky. You do get some carabiners and grommets. Basically.. buy a kickstand solution for extra. Look. Pecron may not be some giant massive brand that’s spending tons of money on influencers and ads. I’ve emailed them and had great interactions about specs and design. They’re engineers first, marketing second. This isn’t a cookie cutter white box. Read more

I got a package and one thing not stated is that the battery and panels are shipped from different places and may not arrive the same day. So Amazon says "delivered" but item not yet recieved.. Well all parts have arrived and are working. I will say their customer service ..by email is very good. To early to say on the long term yet..but so far i am pleased Read more
