First impression (1/27/24): I just installed this case so these are only initial impressions. Fit is excellent. Took enough pressure to press the S24 Ultra in place to inspire confidence. And it doesn't feel much more bulky than without it. It is semi-slick all around right out of the box, but that might be from mold release during production and might be temporary. All in all, I'm highly satisfied and would recommend this case. Especially, over the competitor's Commuter series case, which had a poor fit and poor protection on my older S21 Ultra. Update (2/2/24): I think it was just mold release on the rubber. Grip in hand is now good to hold without fear of slipping but no so tacky that it'll turn your pocket inside-out when you grab it. It is pricey... but it will certainly protect your phone from a horrible death. I am a contractor and have dropped my phone enough times on enough hard and uninviting surfaces to test it out. This and a glass screen protector will keep things in good working order. It also includes a charging port flap. Which is extremely valuable if you work in dusty and dirty environments. Two cons though. 1. It is obviously not bargain priced. 2. The carbon fiber on the back is more of a print or VERY shallow etch rather than real carbon fiber. It will wear off in the spots that are in contact with your hands regularly when holding the phone. I included a picture so you can see what I mean. Read more

I had I hopes for this crystal clear Pelican case. It REALLY looks nice and I constantly get asked about it. It protects the phone well if dropped and isn't quite as bulky as most "defender" style cases. It's made well and seems high-quality, but it started turning yellow/brown almost immediately. I purchased the Pelican case in September 2024, and my Galaxy s24 Ultra is now back in it's Otterbox Defender on 11/20/24. 2.5 months. See photos. I have tried cleaning the yellow/brown areas, but to no avail. If Pelican could make a case that STAYS clear, they'd have a lifetime customer. Unfortunately, the yellowing is too ugly/off-putting and the case costs too much for this to be happening. Especially, after less than 3 months. Oh, well. Otterbox it is. Read more
