Fan has a timer dial and will run for two hours. This is nice energy wise and I use mine in living room so if I walk by I just spin the dial quick to add time if it’s getting low. Maybe not the best option for all rooms. This would not be a great option if you bought it for bedroom because you like to sleep with a fan blowing all night long because it’ll stop after the two hour period…that is unless you are 50+ and get up to go the bathroom few times a night and could always reset it.
