Almost went with the knock-off brand - so glad I didn't. If you're hesitant to spend the extra money, take a few minutes on youtube & you'll immediately see Penny is worth the $. Superior hardware & quality control compared to knock-off brands. Heavier plastic. Thicker wheels. Smoother bearings. I've already ordered a set of shark wheels to accompany this board; they do much better on wet ground and kick pebbles out the side so you don't get flung off your board. Not enough good things to say!! Thanks Penny! Update 12/10/21: I've had the Shark Wheels for a couple weeks now and they are AWESOME.
