Toddlers with knives? Sounds scary when I tell people I got these for our toddler. She likes to be in the kitchen with me and gets excited to 'chop' things. The knives are sturdy and not sharp to the touch. I really don't even know how they cut things....but they do. It's been great for developing her fine motor skills and she'll actually eat a ton of veggies if she chops them, which can normally be a challenge at any meal. These plastic knives are great, I can use them to cut homemade caramels, and they don't stick to the candy. I like the bright colors, too. The only issue is that the largest knife blade isn't completely straight, and, since they are molded plastic, there's no way to straighten it.
