Best pen I bought in a long time. I do a lot of writing, and this pen is #1.
I love this pen. The ink when writing doesn't get with blots of ink on the paper or your hand. It writes nice and smooth and not to fine but just right. The ink is between fine & bold. I bought also Pilot precise V5 RT fine point and I am not a happy camper with them. The pen when writing bc the tip is so fine & sharp it put holes in the paper when writing at times. The point and ink is way to fine for me. I'll take the ENER gel pen any day over the Pilot precise V5 RT. Read more

Very nice writing pen
Hope they help check safety too. I must add that quality issues did arise, and second purchase pens were inconsistent ink flow and skipping. Will continue to use in hopes I just purchased one bad pack. Read more

Great security pen
This is not just a pen. This is a great security pen. I suggested to my mother that when writing checks she use this pen. Fast forward to a few months later…The mail was stolen from inside her post office. She had written a check to her utility company. That check was among the mail stolen from her post office. My mother was told to file a police report and to notify her bank as well. Her check was never cashed. The police and the bank asked her what type of pen she used. They both said ‘good choice’ criminals can’t wash a check with this type of ink. She was so thankful and impressed by how a simple pen saved her from a criminal washing her check and reusing it to their benefit. Bottom line… if you write checks, use this pen! Read more
Horrible - constant skipping
These pens are frustrating. They skip constantly. I thought it was just a bad one, but all of them in the pack skipped. I’ve only had trouble with black. The blue have been fine. Read more
