These gel pens are amazing! I am a high school counselor and I love pens! I use pens often and need them to audit my students’ transcripts. They glide easily, feel good in hand, and have a nice consistency when writing. When I let others use them, they compliment the pen (and want to keep them). Most importantly, they come in a variety of colors and the ink lasts a long time! I’ve used TUL pens a lot, and they run out so quickly but the Pentel pens last for a while! I've never liked gel pens - though they always did glide nicely, they nearly always smudged, and nothing I ever wrote with them looked nice. However, with more and more news about things like how traditional ball point ink could be exploited in check washing schemes, I was looking for a gel ink pen that I could tolerate just for writing a few checks every few months, as I heard gel ink is more secure and harder to wash. I figured I could surely tolerate them for that much. Well, I tested the first pen when they arrived, and I couldn't believe it. It wrote easily and smooth with NO SMUDGING. I even *tried* to smudge, and no dice. This pen is relatively secure in the hand - I generally prefer a wider barrel for writing a page or more at a time, but these are certainly not uncomfortable. The rubberized grip is appreciated. I also appreciate the attention to detail - the latex free grip, recycled packaging, etc, indicate to me that the manufacture has attention to detail to make a solid product. Okay, I'll admit... the title is a bit of a big statement, but hear me out. Firstly, this pen looks sharp (perhaps a touch flashy) and feels great in the hand. The grip section is yielding, and slightly tacky (without leaving a residue). A light grip is all that's needed in order to maintain control. The roller is incredibly smooth, and requires almost zero pressure. The ink flows easily, leaves a bold line, with almost no bleeding or occlusion. It's very precise. This isn't my first experience with these pens. I LOVE them. I've got an enviable collection of premium ink pens on my desk, but these are my favorite by a good margin. Most of the others have become disused, export for the rare occasion where I can't find one of these. Trust me when I say, from a great deal of experience, these are wonderful pens. My favorite disposable, by far... and I know you're going to love them too.
