So I haven’t had any issues with the pen skipping, it’s smooth and writes well, the purple is a good midpoint between too light or too dark - my only issue is that this pen is NOT 1.0. My photo shows this purple pen next to 1.0 pentel energel. I believe this pen is 0.7. Read more
