Tiny but Mighty – Perfect for Under the Desk! I bought this little heater for my office cubicle because I’m always freezing, but we aren't allowed to use high-wattage appliances that trip the breakers. This Performance Tool 250W heater is the perfect solution. Why it’s a 5-Star Winner: Breaker Friendly: At only 250 watts, this thing sips power. I can run it all day alongside my computer and monitors without worrying about overloading the circuit. It’s exactly what I needed for a shared office space. Surprising Heat Output: Don't let the small size fool you. It puts out a concentrated stream of heat that is perfect for warming up your hands or feet. I keep it under my desk, and it creates a nice warm pocket of air around my legs. Compact & Quiet: It’s tiny! It takes up almost no space on my desk or floor. Plus, the fan is very quiet—just a low hum that doesn't disturb my phone calls or coworkers. Simple & Safe: It’s basic, but in a good way. Just an on/off switch and a safety tip-over feature. No complicated settings to mess with. Verdict: If you need a "personal" heat bubble without heating the entire room (or angering your facilities manager), this is the one to get. It’s cheap, effective, and safe. Read more

Great little heater for my tiny camper! It's nice and compact, super light and throws heat nicely. Like all small heaters, it does make a bit of noise, but compared to others it is relatively quiet. Not enough noise to worry about. I use this in a very small area, (5' x 7') and it works perfectly. It keeps me nice and toasty on cold nights. I'm not sure if it would be big enough for a large tent, but this is exactly what I was looking for. Read more

I like the unit as it is small and compact Put out a nice little bit of heat. Unfortunately the price has gone up over 8.00 dollars in only a few weeks. I will probably not buy another one at the higher price, it is not worth the price. Read more

I purchased this 250 watt AC heater for my truck camper to use with my Goal Zero 1500 watt Lithium Solar Charger. It worked great. This heater heated my truck camper great on my last camping trip. Temps got down to 32F and I stayed warm inside of my sleeping bag and my insulated truck camper. I had been looking for something to keep the interior of my truck camper without draining my Goal Zero 1500 watt Solar charger in an hour. It has a 6 foot 120 volt power cord that plugs into my Goal Zero unit. I ran for about 6 hours on one solar charge. Read more

Power draw is 250 watts as advertised with a peak of 600 Watts when initially turned on. The sides in the back of the heater is cool to the touch even after a hour of use. This is a great little heater. You're not going to be able to heat up your bedroom with it. If your workspace is the size of a closet or in my case using it for my car it's perfect. Read more

Not impressed. Heat output is 200-220 degrees which is nice however the really weak CPU style fan does not produce near the air movement needed to make use of the very hot heating element. Power draw tops out at around 260W but all that heat is sitting inside the box, not being forced out with a decent size fan. I've got a 150W mini heater that puts out 3x the air volume but at 150W it barely reaches 120 degrees on the element. A slight upgrade in fan would make this unit almost on par with a Lasko MyHeat which really cooks for it's size. Read more

I have been very happy with this little dynamo! I run it on my 750 watt inverter in my camping van. I turn it on early morning and in a few hours we are comfortable getting out of bed. For a small space it is ideal. Read more

My truck is the oldest in the fleet, and the bunk heater doesn't work. It gets SOO cold. But the company has a camera that beeps 11 times every 90 seconds, to tell you the truck is idling so I can't sleep when it's warm with the beeping (earplugs don't work on every pitch). So I bought this, because it's low wattage use. It does the trick, keeping the bunk warm, but if you want to use it this way be aware that it drains the battery about 5 hours in and you'll need to run the truck about an hour to start over. Still, 5 hours sleep is WAY better than 90 second increments. This thing is a powerhouse to heat that space. Read more
