After ordering and sending back about four other period swimsuit options that didn't work, we were very happy to find this one for my teen daughter. It not only fits great and is appropriate/modest in the top and bottom areas, but it also doesn't have that "diaper-like" issue in the crotch area that we have found so many of these swimsuits have. I ordered the size large for my 11yo. It was way too small. She just started her first period and I'd hoped this would work for when we go to the lake or river as she's still getting used to things and not ready for more invasive options. She's about 5', and while not small, she's not overly large by any means. It does seem well made with quality materials. Just make sure you size up. Read more
So this is well made. I want to be clear and I think it would fit and look nice on most body types. It doesn't quite work for me and if your body is similar it may not work for you I'm 5'9" and have a long torso (I can put both hands between my belly button and where some ultra low rise jeans would hit). Most one piece swimsuits do not fit me. I was very hopeful with this one. I weigh 159# and my measurements are 38" bust, 32" waist, 37" hip. The waist sat comfortably as well did the hip and leg opening fit. I think my issue is my long torso because the straps were digging into my shoulders. Read more
