Persil, superior quality to the other detergents I have used. Better than Kirkland. I had to put the Kirkland, large container, full of clothes detergent that did not work at all, zero suds. Had to take it to hazardous waste disposal. I like the bottle of Persil. It decants easily and is not messy. Very concentrated and need little soap to do even a large load that I just did. Read more

I have been looking for a great sensitive laundry soap that works to clean and also is free of scent and safe for sensitive skin. I looked up consumer reports and they listed Persil. I have been using it for two months and couldn't be happier. I have daycare and no one here has had a rash due to the laundry soap. You only use a small amount so that really makes a difference on the price. Read more

I switched to Persil years ago & was instantly impressed with how clean it gets clothes. Things I thought were clean with my old detergent felt much softer after just one wash. I have extremely sensitive skin since I have a compromised immune system along with sinus allergies, psoriasis & eczema, so I definitely need Persil Free & Clear detergent. I do use the scented versions for the guys stuff, linens, towels, etc but I use the Free formula on my clothes. Persil is a better quality than my previous brand. I will say that the bottle appearance through Amazon is different than the bottles I get locally. The cap is quite small it's almost comical. I'm glad of the design change since you don't actually need much HE detergent to get your clothes clean in a HE machine. Unfortunately, I cannot buy Persil Free & Clear locally now as it's exclusively available on Amazon now I'm a bit bummed that I have to have it shipped now since its liquid & the price is higher online too. I got this bottle on the Prime Day sale, so it was a better price than normal. I was worried about shipping spillage, but the Persil bottle didn't leak in transit (I can't say the same about the laundry sanitizer, but thankfully it didn't leak much). I definitely recommend Persil detergent - I have had excellent results with all formulas I have tried so far. Read more

I can't use anything scented and have tried all of the unscented laundry detergent out there. This one is the best. It has absolutely no scent and just leaves clothes smelling fresh and clean. It works great and is super concentrated so you don't need to use a lot and this large size lasts for a long time. Great value for your money. I can't find it in any store near me, so I appreciate how easy it is to get it through Amazon. Persil has consistently been rated they best detergent and I agree! Read more

Persil Sensitive does a good job cleaning clothes and lifting stains without causing buildup on clothes. Fragrance free, it does a solid job at not irritating the skin, by which I am highly sensitive. Retains colors on clothes, also does a solid job cleaning towels, also with a little white vinegar for fluffy, white towels. No buildup on sheets, towels or clothes, no buildup remaining in my washer. Happy customer. Read more

I loathe scented stuff of any kind--laundry detergent, bar soap, cat litter, deodorant and of course perfumes. They are truly terrible and I sometimes wonder how we got to where companies think everyone wants to smell to high heaven. So I always seek out products without any scent (not even so-called "natural" ones) but at the same time products that work well. Within the past several months both Consumer Reports and the NYT's Wirecutter reviewed laundry detergents that really cleaned stains and smells. Both listed the Persil liquid near the top but, alas, the one they listed was the highly scented original. Fortunately, CR also reviewed the Sensitive Skin Persil liquid detergent and gave it high marks though not as high as the original. But since I would not consider a scented detergent I determined to try this sensitive skin one. I live alone so my clothes don't get excessively dirty, except for sweat. Sometimes I drop some salsa or other snack on my nightshirts as well so the ability to get stains out is as important as the lack of scents. And I am not particularly easy on clothes; I wash everything, including towels and sheets, together in hot water. I'd far rather have to replace items a bit earlier than if I used cold water because it is important that my things be clean. Persil hits the ball out of the park on all counts. Clothes are clean, my skin is not bothered, there is no stinky scent on my clothes or in my washer and dryer. So it matters not to me that the Sensitive Skin Persil is rated a bit lower than the scented one. It still does a darn good job. And I enjoy nothing but fresh air in my home. Highly recommended.
