The media could not be loaded. We needed a new fan for our small living space and this one has been good so far. It is small and lightweight as I expected (make sure to check the measurements in the description if you're unsure). It blows a good amount of air (maybe 5-8 feet) and it is cool air. My husband needs a fan for white noise (not necessarily air flow) for short naps between jobs and this fan seems to do that. So far, he loves it. It has three settings... The 2 and 3 settings seem to give a good amount of air flow and white noise. The 1 setting is low air flow very quiet. It also has a circulate function as well as a timer function for auto shut off if you need that. The price is fair, considering the functionality. I really do like this fan. It is very nice looking. I did not know that there could be a difference in the air flow. I wanted a quiet fan, and this is quieter than others, but not as quiet as I hoped. My one complaint is that the remote has a very narrow range. You have to have it pretty much directly in front of the fan in order for it to work. That is not easy if the fan happens to be facing away from you even a little bit. The thing that I noticed the most is the flow of the air. Although it is just as cooling as our previous fan, the air flow seems more soft. I don't know exactly how to explain it. We both both noticed it. It has a "Natural" setting, which I don't really know what that is supposed to be but it goes low and then higher and then low and then higher - perhaps like the wind. I don't intend to use that. What I was surprised at, was the sleep mode. The sleep mode is quiet then probably medium and cycles back and forth every few seconds. For sleeping, I do not understand why it is not 100% quiet. However, we are not using it for sleep so it's fine for us. What really and truly impressed me was the packaging! It came in it's own box and the top was smashed in. I was so bummed because I thought I was going to have to probably return it. I purchased this fan for two reasons to replace my 6-year-old Kenmore fan, which was much smaller than this product. Since I have a captain's bed, I needed a fan tall enough to feel the wind, which this product does provide. Because I love my room to be very, very cold.. I run my ceiling and tower fans as often as possible when I'm home (usually all day long when I'm home). This fan was doing very well, until around night four when sudden squeaking during the night woke me up. By this point, I had the fan running all day Saturday and Sunday, and only when I got home from work Monday and Tuesday around 4pm. Tuesday, the fan was working well like the other days, until at night. The squeaking sound only occurs if I have the fan oscillating. When stationary, the fan is perfectly fine and not squeaky. It also only squeaks when it starts making a stop (only when going to the right side). Sometimes, if I leave the fan on stationary for a day or two, then switch it back to oscillation, the fan won't squeak. Thankfully, the fan is roughly a foot or two away from my bed, so having it stationary is fine (even though I prefer it moving). As for the the wind-output.. my room is very small, so I can feel the wind pretty well. I only use the first speed option and Natural mode. It's not very loud, but I do enjoy the light white noise sound it puts off at night. I haven't used the other speeds and modes long enough. However, I have tried the second speed which I found to be noticable loud. I also tried the Natural mode, which I didn't like (it has a stop-go-stop-go type of wind-output which I found annoying). Overall, I like the product, but I'm disappointed that it already squeaks after four days of usage if I put it on oscillation mode. Read more
