The media could not be loaded. It's adorable and washable and soft. I have chihuahuas and one is a big ol' fraidy cat. He's honestly terrified of everything (previous owners... We're working on it.) anyway he doesn't really care for it but my younger one is fearless and while she likes it when it's vibrating and making sounds she is still figuring out how to reactivate it and make it go again. For chihuahuas with teensy mouths it's huge!!! Like a softball maybe a bit bigger. It's not too heavy that she can't push it around but probably too heavy to pick up but she's surprised me before with her strength. It feels durable for a chihuahua but I wouldn't trust anything bigger to not tear it up so if you've got medium to big pups just supervise their play time. I was looking for something that didn't make noise and something that stayed on longer since the little one has a short attention span. So while it's not exactly what I was looking for it's a good dog toy. Maybe a shelter pup would love it a bit more I guess we will see when the spring toy purge comes. Until then I'm sure it will get some use here and there. TLDR: It vibrates, barks and makes sounds for about 12 seconds and shuts off. Just need to tap it again to reactivate. About the size of a softball maybe a bit bigger. Too big for a chihuahua but supervise with anything bigger. Read more

First let me say that this is not a toy that I would recommend for heavy chewers. It can probably be destroyed quite quickly by a heavy chewer. My English Mastiff does not chew up her toys but can put some serious hurting on rawhide. Since she does not chew up her toys, I had no issue getting this toy for her. She absolutely loves it and it does help to burn some energy. She jumps and hops at it and is even more excited when she manages to turn it on. It is definitely a toy that I would equate to a much smaller dog and is probably perfect for high energy small and medium dogs. My Great Pyrenees does not like it but I believe this is possibly due to the fact that he never had toys as a puppy so he does not quite know how to play with them. So he just sits quietly watching my Mastiff have an absolute joyous time. I do wish the movement lasted a little longer but it is a great toy anyway. Highly recommended just not for heavy or destructive chewers. Read more

I hated this from the get-go. First, after removing the plastic ball from inside the furry toy, I struggled to twist open the slippery hard plastic ball. I finally was able to use two rubber jar opening gizmos to accomplish that. The instructions indicated to "remove the single screw" from inside the plastic ball. Well, what does that mean? I saw two single screws. Finally, I realized that the single screw in question was not there. The place where there should have been a single screw was empty. If this is by design they should have edited the instructions. If it was overlooked during assembly, well, that explains a lot. So, I finally get the battery compartment opened and insert the batteries, and eventually get the slippery plastic ball back together. By this point I already hate this thing, but there isn't much I won't do to make my dog happy, so I continued. The next step was to push the button and shake the ball vigorously. I nearly shook my arm out of its socket, and nothing happened. I looked the thing over trying to see what I was doing wrong when it suddenly burst to life! It shook in my hands while I tried to stuff it into the furry cover. Then it stopped. I tried a few more times to start it, but to no avail. I declared it a piece of junk, or words to that effect, removed the batteries, placed it back in the box. I will probably return it, but am considering taking it outside and beating it to pieces with a hammer. Maybe this one is defective, but a dog toy should not be that difficult to use. I would suggest no one buy this. To be on the safe side, I suggest no one buy anything from this manufacturer. Junk, junk. Junk. Read more

Ordered this toy for my dog, she loved the toy. She played with this all but 20 minutes. She was easily able to get the vibrating ball out of the toy, no matter how I attempted to seal it inside. Velcro did not hold up to the pulling. I tried safety pins to hold it in to no avail. The ears were removed within an hour. I put the vibrating part into another toy and it seemed to work better. Keeps her entertained and busy. Read more

My dogs love this quirky toy. It's not soft or plushy, so the toy has lasted quite some time as the pups don't seem to be inclined to shred it. It's a hard plastic ball (the mechanism) wrapped in a fuzzy material... It is not a good toy for fetch or for throwing. All of that aside, the reliability is off. After the first day, I thought the thing was dead. I put new batteries in, then nothing. A few days later it started working again. It's been off and on like that for 6 months. I thought it was dead dead again because it hasn't worked for weeks but my dog was still carrying it around so I left it be. After being dead for a few weeks, it started working again. It is what it is, overall my dogs have definitely gotten the money's worth of entertainment. Read more
