Definitely no bite tape. My dog didn’t even like the smell of it. It sticks just like athletic tape, also be careful on how tight you wrap it and the amount of time the wrap stays on your pet. Have scissors close by and avoid the urge to tear with teeth. Read more
So, when I put this on my dog's leg, she immediately started licking it enthusiastically. It was off her leg in short order. Today I came home to find that she had plucked it off the coffee table (don't worry she's small and rarely does that). She had taken one roll out of the package and she'd been chewing on it. If it works for your pet, I can say it works like any other vet wrap. Read more

My goofy dog got blisters on his paws from--not joking--jumping around too much on the trampoline. His paw pads were too sore for him to even walk on the grass, so we needed an intervention. To give his poor paws some relief, I used nonstick gauze with pet-safe first aid ointment directly on the sore spots and then wrapped it with the no-chew self adhering bandages. Despite being on his feet and getting walked on, the bandages held up well and kept the gauze in place on his paw pads. I changed them 2x per day and they never fell off on their own. In terms of the bitter taste that's meant to dissuade dogs from chewing, it was somewhat effective. It slowed him down for sure-- enough so that I had time to notice him start nibbling the bandage edges little by little. With other bandages, he hasn't had any hesitation biting to get it off, but he never actually bit all the way out of the no-chew bandages. Bonus confession if you made it this far: I did indeed taste a piece of the bandage myself and yeah, can confirm that it tastes wretched to a human. So bitter. Once was enough to dissuade *me* from trying again... but then again, my dog licks his own butt so it makes sense that he didn't immediately stop after his first taste. Read more
This tape worked as advertised, my American Pit Bull Terrier would not mess with this tape, he gave it a few licks and sniffs and that was it, great product! Read more
It says no chew but my dog was able to chew it off and rip off the gauze inside and lick it all up, I’m dissatisfied. Read more
My border collie gets a hot spot on her leg in the same spot every year. (Due to allergies and we give her allergy meds.) She still licks the spot like crazy and we have had to put her in a cone for months at a time in previous years. This stuff not only tastes bad but it sticks to itself extremely well. I had a different roll that I was using before but it wasn't any where near as sticky. Just playing fetch it would start to unwrap itself. This stuff sticks really well and the wrap never comes undone. I also taste tested it and WOW yeah that tastes BAD. I would always wake up to her having ripped it all off but not anymore, she leaves it alone now. She doesn't like it but at least she can act like a normal dog without the cone. I think if she was smart enough to pick between the two she would pick this every time. Read more
So far after one week our cat does lick on it but can’t get the tape off. Only four stars as it’s a bit pricey for the amount you get on each roll. Read more
