I absolutely love it!!!! It keeps him off of the furniture and functions as intended perfectly! You get a bunch of panels. Definitely enough for my needs and a great value for the costs. No assembly just cut and or place wherever you need them. I did use duck tape to secure them rather than using the little glue dots. I don’t feel like the glue dots are strong enough to keep these in place. Everything stores nearly as all of the mats fits perfectly within each other. Definitely worth the price! Read more

Lightweight and effective. Keeps my cats off the kitchen counters while being easy to remove for cooking and food preparation. Read more

Do the job somewhat but too light and the cat drags them out of the way. Need something to weigh them down a bit. Although, all in all once anchored they work as need to modify behavior. Read more

I put these mats down to keep the cats off the counters, and they work perfectly — as long as I remember to actually put them out. I also used one to stop my cat from peeing on the rug, and it did the job there too. Just a warning from personal experience: if I step on it, it’s sharp enough to make me rethink my life choices, but not enough to hurt me (or the cat). Effective, simple, and mildly humbling. Pleasantly pleased—June 12, 2025
I have two cats that have decided my window frame needed widening. Since I disagreed with their assessment and communication with them has been completely ignored, I stopped talking and took action. First off, there were way more in this package than I anticipated. That being said, I am not unhappy about it. I cut these to size to rest on the windowsill and placed the planters on top of them instead of sticking because I am having replacements installed soon. (No, not because of the felines.) They cut easy even with my dull kitchen scissors, laid flat, and if I had measured differently, would overlap/stack for uninterrupted spikes. This is my first time, so it’s a learning curve, probably why they include so many in the box. They are lightweight, surprisingly pokey, and clear so it’s not that much of an eyesore. The plants rest on them without them collapsing, but they are succulents and not in huge pots. Something that will sit comfortably on a 6” windowsill. It only took an hour before the first repeat attempt at demolition occurred. It was immediately foiled! I was shocked to see a gentle touch to the spike, and then a complete 180 for the decision for destruction. The second attempt came shortly after by the second offender. This one took his time deciding if he could make it work. He found a kink in the chain. And I will be reinstalling them to overlap to prevent what the demon did. He stepped in the gap that was wider than I thought. They also fit nicely on the base of the open window and prevented him from scaling the screen to the open window! June bugs are the bane of his existence as well it would appear because he tried to get them, and was foiled again by pokeys! I want to put them everywhere now. If I thought my husband would let me, I would cover the tables with them to keep the tiny terrors off those spaces as well. Considering putting them on the couch where they think the threads need loosened. That might look way too weird for me though. I imagine they would tack into place well enough if I tried. For sure placing them on the floor around the washer and dryer, and the other window they think could use widening. If need be, would buy again! Read more

We have a new kitten and doing things to train her to stay out of certain areas. I did deploy one sheet of this to discourage her from getting up on a cabinet from the back of the couch. When I put it out she investigated, made a noise that sounded like an Anglo Saxon monosylable in cat and went somewhere else, but the spikes are huge and I'm concerned if she jumped on one of these from the floor it could injure her. Being thin vacuform the spikes are probably going to get squashed over time. Also they would get squashed if I put anything on top of them. The last time we had kittens we got some plastic carpet protector with small spikes for grip on the back and that worked fine without putting anybody's paws at risk. I ordered some more of that for this round. With the carpet protector placed upside down things can be set on top of it and it doesn't get squashed. Read more

I have two cats who jump on everything. I don't like that aspect at all. I don't like cats on counter tops or around food type items. I also have reptiles and the cats like to jump on the enclosures for warmth. My cats are relentless and break everything. I have come to my wits end. Recently, they jumped on my altar and broke my Buddha. They broke some crystal. I have a Leopard Gecko that is coming and I don't want them to scare him. These mats arrived today and I put them all around my biggest enclosure which is 8 feet long. I also put them on the tv stand where they jump to get to the enclosure. Each of them jumped up on the mats and hated it. They walked very gingerly and got down. Each time I told them off and shooed them away. After they get the point, I will move these to the kitchen and work on that area. They come with a lot for the price. Yes they look strange, but if it helps then I don't care. They feel pretty sturdy. They are easy to lay out. The size of each one is good. They are lightweight. I got the clear ones so they don't stand out. Read more

Unfortunately these don’t work for my cats, but they did work for my sisters cat which is why I purchased them so I guess it depends on your cat. The quality of them was great though. Price point for them for the quantity was good too. I definitely would not want to step on them, but my cats were unbothered and found spots where these weren’t to step on. Read more
