These are pretty cool. I have only had the traditional scissor-like clippers. Even with the nail guard of those clippers, I’m always afraid I’ll cut too much. I really like the design of this pair and built in “block” factor to keep me from hurting my cat. I have only used them once, but they feel and look durable. My cats seemed as comfortable as they could be considering the activity is not their favorite. The clippers were effective. Awesome purchase! Was wary bc of my cats aversion to his paws being touched in general, but decided to go for it after reading reviews. He barely even noticed me trimming the front two. The back two were a little more difficult bc he just didn’t like me holding his paw, but the actual cutting was swift. I do wish there were more size options, he is a large cat with thick claws. It was definitely enough to help the talons, but I wish I could’ve trimmed just a little bit shorter. But all in all, very solid product and highly recommend!! Read more

Trimming my Japanese bobtails were an issue with regular nail clippers but the hole that these have where they clip makes it easy and when clipping adult cats its nearly impossible to clip too far due to the size! Works great! Read more
I was told to purchase this from my little dog however his nails are too big for the hole. I’m sure the item is great for a cat so the only reason for the one star is because it doesn’t fit my dogs nails not because of the item! Read more
