These are pretty cool. I have only had the traditional scissor-like clippers. Even with the nail guard of those clippers, I’m always afraid I’ll cut too much. I really like the design of this pair and built in “block” factor to keep me from hurting my cat. I have only used them once, but they feel and look durable. My cats seemed as comfortable as they could be considering the activity is not their favorite. The clippers were effective.
