Perhaps it's the "Cacao & Nuts Complex" printed on the box, or that this product looks like chocolate pudding when the container is opened, but I got very hungry and excited to try these eye masks. My friends and I tried these out on an overnight ski trip, slapping them on while we had coffee in the morning. I'd never used eye masks before, so had no frame of reference, but almost everyone else had some experience with them. The scent is very subtle and more like a rose than cocoa to me. No one objected to the fragrance, and no one had an adverse reaction to the ingredients. I was initially put off by the slimy feel, but quickly got over it. It's interesting; my skin felt tighter right away, yet refreshed. On another reviewer's recommendation, we also flipped over the masks and tried them on smile lines or other areas with lines or creases (but not super-sensitive eyelids). We also noticed a temporary firming after application, with softer and more supple skin in those areas. The group consensus--newbies and those with estheticians on speed dial alike--was an enthusiastic thumbs up. I would purchase this product for myself again and feel good about gifting it to others. This is my first time using this type of masks, specifically for the eyes. This is also the first time I have used a cocoa-based mask. It works as described, and I actually enjoyed it. I miss the feeling of whole-face covering, but that is not an issue of this mask as it is clearly specified and shown on the product page. Just saying this since it means it will not be my regular mask to use, but it has its use-case: limited targetted area and for quick and easy application. The product itself is very easy to use, it stuck to my face as needed, but never left any residue nor weird feeling after use. The scent is very light, and not overpowering, so it is gentle on my sensitive nose. The applied area is moisturized and felt good afterwards. They felt cool to my face, and it was a good feeling. Rating Process: 5 stars- Great item, not necessarily perfect, the good overcame what I dislike. Grab this one for sure! 4 stars- Meets advertised description, have at least one imperfection, or not my "preference". These Petitfee Cacao Hydrogel Eye Masks are a great quick fix for puffy, tired under-eyes. The cooling gel texture feels amazing, and the blend of cacao seed butter, Brazil nut, and macadamia oils leaves my skin soft and hydrated. I noticed a subtle firming effect after use, and the slight caffeine-like tingle makes them perfect for mornings or pre-event prep. That said, the results are temporary (don’t expect miracles for deep wrinkles), and the masks can slide if you move around. But for the price and quantity (30 pairs!), they’re a solid deal. I have never used cocoa products on my face. I have used cocoa butter previously for my skin (during pregnancy) and know that it has great moisturizing and healing benefits. I was intrigued to see cocoa eye masks. These eye masks have cocoa extract and cocoa seed butter so they smell nicely like coca butter. It is not an overwhelmingly strong smell but you can tell that it has cocoa butter. These are great eye masks and I like the option to not have a lot of plastic waste with individually wrapped eye masks. These are dark brown so that is definitely different than a lot of the pastel and gold colored eye masks--maybe a little unappealing for some but it is an accurate representation of the cocoa butter in these. The eye masks stick well, if you leave a lot of the serum on the mask, it will slide down your face for a few minutes but that can be addressed by laying down for under 5 minutes before they set. After setting on your face, there is no uncomfortable feeling and after 20 minutes I took these off and allowed the serum to absorb into my skin. My tired eyes did look more rested and hydrated than prior. I'm sure with regular usage these will address typical under eye area concerns. The smell is mild, the ingredients good for your skin and caused no irritation or redness on my face. I would use these on the regular. Read more

These are some of the BEST eye masks I've ever used -- and I've tried quite a few different types! First off, the masks are easy to apply and stick very well. They are not so thick that they feel heavy and not so thin that they tear easily. They are actually just perfect. I experience a cooling effect from these as well as a rejuvenating effect when I peel them off. I now turn them over and apply to the corners of my mouth -- to address smile lines! I've found they do great double duty like this. I do the eye application for about 15 minutes and the 'smile' application for the same. I really like the ingredients from Korea, fairly well known for great skincare products. The jar is well made, easy to open and it comes with a small transparent spatula for easily lifting out each eye mask. The ingredients are listed on the box but not on the jar (most is in Korean on the jar), which is something I actually would like as I don't usually keep boxes. However this is minor.
