This is a very nice hat! Much more quality than I expected to be honest. It's thick but not too thick. So if you're having one of those days where your hair isn't behaving then you can just pop this on and have your ponytail come out the back and it's a cute look while keeping you warm and hiding a bad hair day. If you're like me and like to pull your second or third day hair up into a ponytail this little beanie is perfect for frosty winter days. We don't get a lot of snow here in Texas but it does cold so when I head out to feed the horses or to run errands I usually throw on a baseball cap, but with this little hat I can pull my pony through and be just a bit more stylish. I should also add that I am a knitter, and will eventually knit one of these myself, but in the meantime this was a reasonably priced quick fix that left me impressed with the quality, fit and knit pattern.
