The first thing you need to know about the CLQFDT FLATPEA Venom Perfume, is that it is not like the Eau de Toilette (EDT, 5-15% perfume oil) you find at most retail stores. Perfumes come in several concentrations, with toilette being among the lowest, and this brand being a step up at a higher Eau de Parfum (EDP - 15-20% perfume oil), but not at the highest (and most expensive) Parfum (20-40% perfume oil). Higher perfume oil concentrations not only offer more kick, but the scent lasts longer as well, with Toilette lasting 4-6 hours. EDP 6-10 hours, and the mighty (and expensive) Parfum 8-12 hours. To me, this scent strikes a nice balance between a long-lasting scent at a good value. The travel-sized bottle is easy to pack and is perfect for a discrete application when you need to top off your perfume. Upon opening the top, the first note that hit me was rose. It was like leaning over and smelling a bunch of beautiful roses in a garden. This middle note ended up being the top note for me, but the overall freshness is what stood out when wearing this. I use this for those special occasions and important meetings when I want to make an impact while attending. Overall, it’s a high concentration roll on cologne, and the lasting power isn’t the best. I checked the notes on this thing, and they are interesting: They listed watermelon, and some rose, musk. And they stated that it has Dragon Saliva? lol,, wonder what dragon saliva smells like,, not sure if it’s a name of certain ingredient,, I definitely carious what that smells like. From the scent,, i only got a the rose note mixed with some fresh aquatic note,, I didn’t pick up any watermelon. The scent in general isn’t something that blows my mind,, because it’s just a floral generic scent and it’s a bit synthetic. The lasting power isn’t the best,, it fades away after a couple of hours,, but i don’t apply too much of it. It’s not a bad scent, it’s just very generic scent you might’ve smelled somewhere. This is a good size for travel, on the go kinda thing, you can apply anywhere at anytime. But don’t expect this to be smelling like a millionaire,, it’s just a very basic scent. Other word, it’s a safe scent,, it will not offend anyone,, and it doesn’t stink. For the price,, I wish they can do more, and make the scent more strong and unique,, with dragon saliva,, I don’t get that either lol.
