The integration with the Hue Bridge was seamless and works well with Google Home. The lamp is more for accent lighting than anything else. This accent lamp is much more gorgeous and classy than I anticipated. It’s also larger than I expected. It really works well with my other hue lights to create a nice ambiance. This lamp is a treasure. Great designer look at a low price. Hue system really is the best at smart lighting. Packaging that into something that looks like a work of art is another. I got the clear with white ring. In my opinion it looks like sculpture. That light comes from both top and front really makes it useful. Read more

The only downsides to these lamps are: 1. They’re kind of expensive 2. They’re not that bright unless using the white ranging LED These lamps are pretty awesome otherwise. The clear back allows the diffuse light through. It’s kind of like a transparent flashlight effect, if you can imagine that. This creates way more brightness than I had realized, but it's super easy to dim and change the colors with the app. I love the ambiance that I can create in my apartment now, with my living room and bedroom having their own vibes. I love showing it off whenever we have company It was also very easy to set up and pair with the Bridge and app. We initially just set it up with Bluetooth before getting the Bridge to enable us to do multiple rooms. The light is just "Ok." It is bright, and the light changes colors using an app. The larger problem is the Hue box and app itself. Any time there is a power outage, however brief, the odds are not in your favor that any Hue settings will work again and you may have to delete each Hue device on the app and reinstall. This last time my power went out, which is infrequent, it took me over a month to get the Hue box working again, and even now I cannot get this Hue light to work again in the app. The light itself looks great in this image/picture, but looks cheap in person. Looks like cheap plastic in person, and it looks like a different material in the image, meaning it is not worth the price, in my opinion. Read more
