I had a sonicare E series that lasted me almost 15 years. My toddler finally broke it so I had to replace it. I read several reviews and settled on this one. It is pretty awesome. I drink a lot of coffee and tea so my teeth tend to be a bit stained. First time I used this my teeth became so blindingly white it was almost scary. I then bought additional brush head and used it on my little ones. Their teeth look awesome and they didn't mind the vibration like they did on their kids brushes. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the charger. You can use a GLASS, glass attachment to charge it or their weird plastic base that sits on another base. The glass is just a bad idea with kids and a hard tile floor. The base on a base is just confusing and makes zero sense to me because its another part you can knock off and lose or break. The charger should just be one piece. Other than that, i love this brush. I also love how white my teeth are. Definitely recommend this one. Read more

My wife gets pretty concerned about her teeth and gum health and so I bought this for her birthday a few years ago. It still works really well and the pause it makes to have you switch sides of the mouth is great to help make sure you're brushing your teeth long enough. I had my doubts about how charging would work, since it sits in a glass that doubles as a drinking cup, but I've never known the brush to fail to charge. Although my wife doesn't really use the cup as a water glass. Read more

This thing earned me my very first good report card at the dentist that I've had in years. I've had lots of medical problems since I was 16 and I honestly stopped caring about my teeth for a long time and I paid for it and I continue to pay for it no matter how much effort I was putting in on them. No matter what I did, I'd have inflamed gums and tons of 4's when measuring my gums. The only thing my dentists could suggest was to buy whatever they were being paid to push at the time and not necessarily what would be best for my teeth. After a particularly bad visit to the dentists. I read a thread on reddit and this device was highly recommended. You can't fake that level of endorsement. 3 months later, I'm getting oodles of 2's and 3's with very few 4's on my gum measurements (I only remembered to use this thing half of the time too!). My hygienist asked me what I changed and I proudly told her about my Sonicare. This thing has a setting for everybody. Its super easy to charge. Its portable so I can take it to work with me and brush with mouthwash after meals. I can't stop raving about how amazing this thing is. I thought my situation was hopeless. Thank you! Read more

I purchased this product on Dec 1st 2019 and have yet to review it. I got the pink handle and it's gorgeous blush pink color. The packaging, I remember was very neat and everything was brand new, authentic. I was a SKEPTIC at first, because of the deal I got for it but, this is THE REAL DEAL and heres why. Once I purchased the product, I immediately registered it on USA Phillips website (I'm in USA). And load and behold, my toothbrush all of a sudden malfunction today. I contact Phillips Customer Service via website and I'm getting a REPLACEMENT SHIPPED FREE because my warranty of 2 years is VALID. I gave them the serial # of my toothbrush too (on the bottom of the handle), and it all checked out! So if the toothbrush wasn't AUTHENTIC, I wouldn't be getting a replacement. I hope this review clears your skepticism because, who uses a warranty on a toothbrush.. and if they do do, who uses it before the warranty expires!? :) Read more

These work well, but only last 2 years. Between my husband and I we are on our sixth ones since 2018. Just expensive for that length of time. Read more

I felt like it was time for a new electric toothbrush; after all, I had my original Sonicare for a VERY long time. When I researched electric toothbrushes, I found this is supposed to be THE ONE. Well, turns out it really is! I had no idea the original Sonicare could improve, but it has. I felt a little intimidated by all the speeds, but let me tell you - I really love using them. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW IT CLEANS MY TEETH! I especially like that it is easy to clean, also, because of the new design, the toothbush fits onto its connector where water doesn't get into its receptacle to allow mold to grow. It's worth the money! Don't tell my family, but they are all getting one for Christmas (if I can wait that long)! Read more

I am a 20 year sonicare user. My children use them (ages 12 and 17) and have since they were about 4 years old — neither of them have any cavities, NONE. But I will say that I am finished with these multi-function sonicare brushes such as this one. I bought 2 for myself and my husband in November of 2019. It is October of 2020 and both of them have essentially stopped working. This is the second “fancier” version I have bought that this has happened. I am going back to the simpler version and sticking with those; I am tired of sending these in for warranty work. Save yourself some money — use the sonicare brushes that have one or two speeds and are under $100. Don’t stop using sonicare because when they work, they really work well keeping your teeth cavity-free...just don’t bother spending more than you have to — they are not worth it. I am going back to the $79 protective clean 5100 model or even the 4100 model that is $49. Read more
