From its first use, I found that this Sonicare model cleaned my teeth very well while also gently massaging gums. It's been three months now. I'm seeing genuine improvement in dental health: sturdy, firm gums, tighter adherence at the tooth line, better brightening and shine. Amazed how much more effective this is, than my old rotating brush. Timing could not be better, too, as my dentist had warned I may need a gum specialist if results did not improve. That stunned me; I had believed I was doing well - but regular brushing and flossing weren't enough. Game on! My new technique: 1. Daily flossing. 2. This Sonicare toothbrush, which cleans better between teeth and also massages gums. 3. Oral irrigator (Panasonic's affordable, portable EW-DJ10-A). Sounds like a "mouthful" but in 5 minutes nightly: gums are bonding better, visibly improved, mouth has a fresher sensation, tooth surfaces are cleaner, smoother, visibly whiter. (I also switched to Crest 3D whitening toothpaste - a fine choice.) Now I'm eager for my next check-up. RESULTS: My hygienist and dentist were thrilled with my six month checkup: total turnaround. As a layman I thought I'd found the right method - and they confirmed it - what I'm doing is working well now. This is more than a sustainable, easy process now to keep my gums at their peak of health. It's actually fun. (Believe it or not.) Who wouldn't want that?! Read more

Confession: We were lured by less expensive pricing into purchasing 2 non-Philips Sonicare toothbrushes. After a short while, one of the less expensive toothbrushes broke. I decided to replace the broken 'sonic' toothbrush with this Philips Sonicare Flexcare and do a side-by-side comparison. Here's the result: The higher price of the Philips is MORE THAN justifiable. The Philips' brand is a lot more effective. The other 'sonic' toothbrush makes noise and seems to vibrate, but holy cow...the cheaper model is well, cheaper. From the moment you turn on both brushes, you can feel the difference in quality, motor and motion. Ever seen those vacuum demonstrations? The sales person first takes the inferior vacuum and uses it to go over a row of dirt -- and as you watch the first vacuum pull up the debris, you think, "ok, it did its job." But then(!) the sales person takes the better vacuum and goes over what the first vacuum left behind, and suddenly you realize that the first vacuum wasn't getting the deep clean that you thought! Eeeeew! The same situation between the two 'sonic' toothbrushes. The Philips model is a much, MUCH better model. Don't be fooled into purchasing an inferior brush simply because of the price. P.S. After only a few weeks of using my Philips Sonicare Flexcare Plus, my smile has visibly brightened. Read more

This is the best electric toothbrush I have ever used. I have been using other brand electric toothbrushes for many years because my dentist highly recommended it. I was always disappointed with the ones I had been using because I still had tartar buildup and go to the dentist three times a year This Phillips sonicare flex toothbrush really gets down in the gums. I threw away my other electric toothbrushes. I wish I would have bought this one sooner. This is the one my dentist told me to buy but I thought it was too expensive but on Cyber Monday I found it on amazon for a great price. I am very happy with it. I’ll be more happy when I go to the dentist next month and hopefully have very little tartar and no bleeding gums. Now I need to find a good deal on some replacement toothbrush heads. Read more

I love this toothbrush but like many reviewers, mine stopped working correctly after 17 months. Thanks to the reviews here, I saw some reached out to Sonicare and found they have an excellent warranty and replace items free of charge within that warranty period. The process is really easy. Just call, give the serial number from the toothbrush, describe the problem, go through some troubleshooting and that's it. My replacement is on the way and Im vey happy about that! Since Amazon stores your purchase history, its easy to show proof of purchase even if you don't register your product. So thank you to Amazon, Sonicare and the people who advised me through reviews. :-) Until the day it stopped working, this toothbrush did an excellent job and its worth getting again! Read more

I have been a Sonicare user for about 25 years. This is my third. The first one lasted a very long time, the second about 7-8 years. When I bought my second it was a FlexCare model and, although I hd not chosen it because it was a Flexcare model, over the years I grew accustomed to having those Flexcare choices and did look for that option when I ordered this model. My old model had a sanitizer for the brush heads..and this model works with that..a plus. I guess the results I have had at the dentist make me a confirmed Sonicare fan. I cannot imagine not using a Sonicare toothbrush now. They have really worked remarkably well for me and my teeth always feel clean . I am very happy with my third Sonicare toothbrush. Read more
