It’s a great little toothbrush. Seems to do a good job on my son’s teeth. The reason I’m giving it five stars is that it has an app associated with it. The app turns brushing your teeth into a game, so it make sure that the child brushes his teeth for the appropriate time in the appropriate areas. It’s super easy to work with and install the app. I bought it for my 3yr old to get him to be interested longer in brushing his teeth. It’s nice that it starts off on the lowest setting and for 1min for the first 7 days. It comes with stickers you can interchange on the toothbrush or use as a rewards system. Towards the bottom of the toothbrush, there’s a button to adjust high or low vibration. It comes with a cap to cover the bristles when not in use. I haven’t charged it in a week and we use it twice a day and it’s still going strong. It is a bit heavy so it might take some getting used to if your child is brushing on their own. Onto the app.. You sign up for an account and get a parental dashboard to adjust for different settings and to give credit for brushing in am or pm if the toothbrush was dead or didn’t register. You get to hatch a little “sparkly” and take care of it. When you touch it, it makes a laughing sound, a lalala or wahhh wahh wahh sound. Each time you brush you get a present to open. It can be food, spray paint (to dye your sparkly), a different background scene, accessories to wear. You can feed it food, change colors (as long as you have that color can), and dress it up. When you want to start brushing, the toothbrush has a timer and beeps to let you know to move into the next quadrant. There’s also a video on the app showing teeth getting brushed and cleaning out all the sugar bugs that my toddler watches. It talks to them during the video and tells them what’s going on. I have the app on my phone, my kindle fire didn’t have it available to download. I wish the app actually showed how well we were brushing and what actually got cleaned during the brush time so we know what spots we’re missing. I thought it did which was my main drive to purchase. Brushing teeth is definitely more fun with this toothbrush and app. Our son loves it and the reward system on the app is a huge motivation to keep on brushing. Good quality toothbrush.
