I doubt that i got all 10 bulbs in in the right direction the first time, so im guessing they have an internal component to regulate current flow direction which leads me to belive they are plug and play for any application. Alreaddy ordered more since i need more than 10. I got the purple but they are a bit more to the pink side i think. They are bright enough for my guages and all of them worked.
