I was hoping to use this to mount my phone to my windshield to make it easier to see. I used the wipes that came with the product to clean the inside of the windshield and then installed the holder. The ring was not easy to turn and didn't feel like it was doing anything. I tugged on the holder and it seemed secure. I came out to my (garaged) truck in the morning and the holder had fallen off the windshield. I tried mounting it to my vinyl dash, but was able to pull it right off. I am returning it. Read more
