This is a pretty cool design as it uses a vent to secure it but it doesn't block the vent, a real blessing when the temperature is 92 degrees. I was able to position it in my 2017 Pacifica so that I have a little flexibility in directing the airflow, but only a little and the size of your vent may prevent you from having any choice in directing airflow. This holds my phone securely. It has a button that my phone presses against when I push it into places that closes the locking arms - a pretty neat feature! I docked this one star due to the build quality. It feels cheap and I am dubious about how long this will last. My previous phone hold cost only $3 more and had a much more premium, sturdy feel. It lasted my five years before it wore out. I don't know that this new one won't last five years but it doesn't feel as well made. Read more

This car vent phone mount does exactly what it promises—it holds my phone securely without blocking the air flow or interfering with driving visibility. It stays in place, even over bumpy roads, and the hands-free feature makes using GPS or answering calls much safer while driving. My only minor complaint is that the overall build quality feels a bit lightweight. While it hasn’t broken or failed in any way, it doesn’t have the solid, durable feel of more premium mounts. That said, it’s held up fine so far, and it functions very well for the price. Additionally, when you put your phone on the mount it will release the arms to hold it and they are spring loaded. If you're looking for a compact, reliable, and affordable phone mount that won't block your vents or fall off mid-drive, this is a great option.
