Some things I loved and some I didn't. First I applied a primer to the upper lid only and then a concealer over the lid and under the eye. I usually have very dark areas in the inner corner of my eyes and underneath. Caused by bad sinuses. I like to use the concealer in the inner corner and blend it as much as possible. For a lighter pigmented eyeshadow, I take one of the lighter colors and do the whole upper lid past the crease and just below the eyebrow area. Then I pick a medium color and do the crease and right above the crease (I'll tell you why shortly). Next I take one of the darkest colors in this case the dark brown and pat the very outer corner of my upper lid. This gives the illusion that your eyes are a little farther apart. I take a thin brush and use one of the darker shadows right under my lower lashes to about the center of the eye. Next I tried to wet line the lower eyelid with the brown but couldn't really get much color out of it. I lined both the upper and lower lids with a thin line of the black line. To finish off I used the dark mascara and then once it was dry used the lighter mascara but couldn't really see a difference. I have to say that when I was done I was very happy with the way it looked. I wore the eye makeup for about 11 hours with no issues at all and it looked just like it did when I put it on. So here's the Pros: Stays on as promised, Doesn't irritate the eyes, Nice colors for daytime, easy to pack up in a small makeup bag and take along. Cons: I ditched the sponge that came with the kit. It was hard and scratchy to me. The brown eyeliner is way too light in color. Wasn't crazy about the mascara and not sure what the beige mascara is supposed to do. I'm 67 years old and wear makeup every day. My eyes are hooded which is why I carry the centerline above the crease as it gives the illusion that your eyes are bigger and not as hooded. The same for the dark color at the outside corner - makes the eyes look further apart. After each addition of eyeshadow it's important to blend. I used a small, half circle brush to apply most of the shadow, a domed shaped fluffy brush for blending and a blunt edged brush for the lower lash line. I do like the shadows a lot and I will use them. I like the small little case the shadows are in and it's much lighter and easier to use for travel. I recommend it especially if you like playing around with shading - gives you plenty of choices! Have fun! Read more

Edit to my previous review. Although the eyeshadow pallet is small, the eyeshadow is great! I’m very pleased! Haven’t tried the other products yet. I haven’t tried it yet. I do hope it great because the eyeshadow pallet is so small, I hope that I can select the correct color when I go to apply it. I will say, the colors are very pretty. Really thought this would be a bit larger. Read more

This is literally the perfect set! It is a one stop shop for traveling. The liners are easy to use and glide perfectly and the pallet is almost creamy and easy to use. The mascara I'm almost running out of already because I use it the most out of everything. Physicians Formula knew what they were doing with this set because I will definitely be buying the individual items when I run out as I go ha-ha. Read more

I LOVE everything about it except the black eyeliner. I don't know if the formula is different from the brown or what, but the brown glides on nice and smooth and stays all day. The black is awful. It's hard a rock and does not go on easily, evenly, or smoothly. It's so dry, it pulls at my eyelid and actually physically hurts and causes irritation. It's also chunky and even breaks off into very small pieces. I tried everything I could think of. I scribbled on my hand, thinking maybe it had a waxy covering. I broke the tip off, thinking that maybe it was dry and further down would have a better texture. I warm it up between my fingers first. Nothing works. I don't know if this is standard for the black eyeliner, or perhaps I got an old one or one from a bad batch. Like I said, the brown is fantastic (as is the eyeshadow palate), so I can't imagine that the black formula is that much different. I have asked the company to send me a new one so I can see if that's how the black is or if I got a bad one. If they send me a good black eyeliner, I will definitely change my review! Read more
