This sweater set is high quality. The fabric is reasonably soft and very thick. It is well shaped and constructed. The saturated black. I sized down to a medium and it fit me well (5'2"; 145; 38B; 33" waist), coming about an inch or two above my ankle. It has good stretch and is comfortable. Other reviewers talk about using the pieces separately, and I can certainly see that working, making it versatile. I can see the top being dressed down, but for me, the set together is not casual. It would be nice for an office setting, church or a party. It came very carefully packaged: neatly folded department store style with tissue and in a zippered bag. I have not washed it yet. I love the set! The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because there is some inconsistency between the skirt and the top. The skirt fits more along the size but the top seems a little too oversized. It wouldn't be so bad if it was baggy at the top but then the bottom of the top was a little more fitted however, it just kind of hangs straight and very loose. That's still okay for me! I will say that the pilling is happening after the second wash. I wash inside out on delicate and do not put it in the dryer. Definitely for the price it's a good little fall winter set however, I don't think it's going to have a lot of longevity. If you're okay getting a couple of seasons out of it this is definitely one you should try. Go ahead and put that sweater shaver in your cart when you purchase this because trust me, you're going to want it. Read more
