I bought a large size and the only thing I can say is that the spandex under the shorts was not as fitting as I would like because they were a bit baggy, but I think I can mitigate that with getting a size smaller. I'm 6 ft and about 185 with a 33 inch waist, so I originally purchased a large. The quality is great and the phone pocket works like a charm with no issues falling out at all even with the spandex being a bit baggy. This is the second pair of these shorts that I have purchased. I have been using the first pair for about three months now and I love them. They fit very well and with a heavier phone I don't even notice I have a phone in the pocket after a minute or two. I like the phone in the compression in the leg feature. Brilliant! Originally I found it annoying to try and take out my phone during a run but have now gotten used to it and can pull out my phone without breaking stride. It probably isn't the coolest looking things to see someone pulling up the short leg to grab a phone, but it gets the job done. I use these shorts on all my long runs and they are my favorite I own. I also like the side zipper pocket. It is large enough to put your keys evven your phone. The two regular side pockets are well placed and are deep enough to place your phone when walking around casually. The tweaks I would make would be the following. I would have placed the zipper pocket on the left side. I already have the phone on that side so I think it would have helped to even out some weight. Also, the compression short hangs lower than the outer short. They could make the cut a little shorter on the inner and it would change the functionality. Finally, the hole in the leg for a chord seems outdated at this point. I guess it would be a good feature 5-10 years ago, but most people now are using wireless. But is you still have wired earphones, than these are your shorts. I feel all these tweaks do not effect the performance of these shorts so they are more me being picky. Finally, I love the price! There are higher quality/priced items on the market. If you are a huge runner and need to spend a lot of money on shorts to create the image of a big time athlete, then I don't know if these are your shorts. I do triathlons, so I have enough to blow my money on in gear, so dropping $50+ on shorts is not worth it for me. Quick final note: I have an Iphone 11. It fits great, but I noticed that if I have my phone screen facing my leg, it will at times start to take pictures and other functions. I found if i turn the phone away from my leg it doesn't happen. Incredible fit and comfort. I've worn these all throughout my training the last 6 months and I just wore them for a half marathon. For the price point there is nothing better. I'm 6'2" and 260lbs. Fit is always a concern. Especially in the crotch. These shorts stay where they're supposed to and don't slide down or require me to adjust myself. I run with my galaxy fold 3, bose earbud case, ID, and two snacks in the pockets and everything feels great. Read more

They're decent shorts but there are better ones out there, I think. The outer shell is soft, they fit well, elastic drawstring waistband. They do the job but a few flaws: * The description claims "compression tights" but that's definitely not the case. They have the stretchy inner short, but its far from "compression". I own other shorts with much tighter inner shorts. For my use case doesn't matter that much, but if you're looking fir "compression" shorts, these are not them. * The inner short is as long, if not longer than the outer. Maybe that's the current style and I just don't get it, but not sure why it needs to be like that. I was expecting the inner short to be a little shorter than the outer so you didn't see it, but that's not the case. The inner short is quite long and while working out will be plainly visible.
