The material of these shorts is soft, smooth and airy. The material is thin but of quality and is not see-through. The side slits help with movement, so you don't feel restrained while wearing them. The shorts wash up and dry very quickly! I really like the quality of the waist band and draw strings. The waist band is comfortable but yet fits securely. The draw strings are thick and tie without any issues and stay in place. These shorts will not fall down or get loose in the waist. These are very versatile shorts to use for every day or working out or doing things around the home. The shorts are also not too short so if you bend down you are still covered. I got these PINSPARK Women's Quick Dry Athletic Shorts for hitting the Gym and walking. The Blue size medium fit me perfectly and I am 66 inches tall and 134 lbs. The fabric is nice and light and feels nice. The shorts were washed and dried in cold and low heat dry and came out perfect with no wrinkles or shrinkage. The blue color is attractive and coordinated with most my work out shorts. I am wearing the shorts now- not to work out but just to do my chores and Amazon reviews and they are very comfortable. I can tell if I do get sweaty in them they would dry fast. The price was right for these shorts and I recommend them. The pockets are deep enough to hold my cell phone too! The red color is opaque in sunlight and the pockets are generous enough to fit a phone securely, yet don't stick out. The high waistband is thicker than usual, which helps it to stay in place, and the fit is true to size. The shorts are soft and silky in that polyester way, thin, lightweight, and feels like quick-dry. These high-waisted, quick-dry athletic shorts are true to size and fit well. This review is for the blue color, and although the material is thin, it is not see-through and seems well put together with no noticeable stitching issues. They are a light material, a mix of polyester and spandex. There is a drawstring to cinch the waist tight. I liked the high waist, and the stretchiness held well at the waist. During use, they did not creep up and had plenty of room to move. These will be used mainly for walking but also think they would be good for working around the house. The pockets are big enough for a medium-sized phone, but the extra-large phones probably won’t fit. They were washed and dried and kept their shape and size. I’m giving these shorts a five star because they do what they advertise. I got black ones so you can’t see through them but I could see if it was one of the lighter colors they would be pretty sheer. These fit very well. They have large deep front pockets (see my picture) which was surprising. They are quick dry and the material is slightly stretchy and soft. I really liked that the drawstring goes all the way around the waist and not just on the front as decoration. Between the drawstring and the elastic waistband they stay in place very well. They do have a 5” inseam but they are high waisted so the listing pictures might make them seem longer than they are. I really liked these as a reasonably priced lightweight summer short. Comfortable for everyday wear. These fit true to size, and the drawstring is a true drawstring that you can use to tighten/loosen the waist. They are lightweight for working out in, and just a comfortable pair of shorts. No issues with washing/drying. The pockets are a decent size, however they do not zip close, so be aware that things will fall out if you are using these for more yoga type moves.
