Pioneer Camp Mens Cardigan Sweaters Full Zip Up Stand Collar Slim Fit Casual Knitted Sweater with 2 Front

I ordered a bunch of these types of zip-up cardigan sweaters because I was looking for something that was heavy weight for the warmth, fit well and normally (didn't have weird bulges, had a good silhouette, etc) and came in a few specific colors- black, dark blue, and maroon. I wanted them for both casual wear, and in place of a suit jacket with my suits. Zipper, stand-up collar, and a classy look were a must. This sweater absolutely fit all the above and is one of my new most favorite things to wear! Sizing is pretty much true to their sizing guide, and this fits me really well. I'm a male and the medium is perfect on my 150 lb, 5' 6" frame. I wear this to work with casual pants and a long sleeve solid colored T-shirt under it, and this sweater really gives me an almost "rich casual" look. It is a really nice, heavier cotton-feeling material. It is on the thicker side, which is what I was looking for, and is warm! I run kind of cold and now that winter is here I'm wearing multiple long-sleeve layers. This sweater has noticeably helped me hold on to a little more body heat! The pattern of vertical stripes breaks up the outline a bit and adds to the distinctive, classier look. I wear this to church in place of a suit coat, with my suit pants and shirt and tie, and I look and feel like a million bucks in it. I've gotten many compliments on the combo! The sweater has pockets and, while they don't feel flimsy, they are made of the same knit material as the sweater, and they should be considered light duty; great for hand warming, or very light objects like a light key ring or a minimalist, 4-card wallet maybe. Definitely not for phones, wallets or anything of substantial weight. But having these pockets is a huge plus for the hand-warming aspect alone. This has held up perfectly to a couple of washings now, and has come out of the dryer looking exactly how it looked when it first arrived. Pioneer Camp is not the cheapest version of this sweater that you will find, and as a brand I find they are kind of expensive. I reviewed their Polar Fleece jacket, which is also a little spendy compared to others, but that jacket has held up so well. It is my daily driver and was absolutely perfect for what I was looking for. So it is with this sweater, the quality is there and my previous experience with the brand leads me to believe that while this sweater is a bit more expensive than I can find with other brands, it will hold up. Besides, it is everything else I was looking for- quality, heavier weight, zip-up, stand up collar, pockets, a fresh classy look, and availability in a few key colors. As mentioned it is my new favorite thing to wear, and after my experience with this black one, I also ordered a blue one, and a maroon one is on the way. I bought this for my husband. The quality of this sweater is excellent! It has good weight and looks amazing on! The zipper works great and looks good zipped or unzipped. The fit was perfect and it hung correctly on his body type. Its a smart looking sweater that could be worn casually or dressed up with a tie. Very comfortable and well made. I've worn it almost daily for 3 months and find it to be a nice, general purpose outerwear layer for cool weather that fits nicely under a ski jacket on cold days. Do buy it a size larger than the typical American fit. It will be too large when you first get it, but for me it shrank down to a more snug fit for me after the first pass through the dryer on low heat after a cold water wash. It cleans up nicely. It's a heavier fabric, so I often shed it when I'm indoors. It's nice enough for most work environments, but works with informal ensembles as well. I plan to buy another one. This was a gift. The person who wears it looks so handsome in it! He enjoys the feel, the warmth, the length,and the fact that it's a zippered sweater unlike the pull-ons he has. This army green is a beautiful shade! I'm glad I ordered a size L for him because he has broader shoulders. He said it's great for work and weekends cause he uses a long-sleeved collar shirt to work and weekends are his T-shirt and jeans days. Read more

This sweater is medium warm. It's a good fit around the house and also, as it is not that bulky, as a layer under a winter jacket. Looks well made. It is comfortable. I like the full zipper as opposed to a pull over. Read more

I bought this for my husband, and it turned out to be the best gift I’ve given him in years. It’s heavy yet soft, incredibly warm, zips up, and looks so good. The sizes seem to run a bit small, tho. I got him a large and he normally wears a medium. This fits perfectly, but I cautioned him not to dry it since it is part cotton. The colors that are available made it difficult to choose.
