I'm a graphic designer juggling a MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, Galaxy S23, and iPhone 15 across client calls, renders, and endless scrolling β my desk was a tangle of bricks and cords that tripped me twice a week. The single-port wall warts just couldn't keep up, and fast-charge claims often meant heat and slowdowns. Spotted this 160W USB-C GaN Charger (PD3.1, 4-Port Foldable) bundled with a 6FT 240W cable for $45 on a tech deal, and figured it was time to consolidate. A month of heavy desk duty later, it's streamlined my setup like a pro organizer. One block rules them all β full speeds, no bottlenecks. Bundle Breakdown (Compact and Complete): Foldable GaN charger block (2.5x2.5 inches, prongs tuck away for travel). Four ports: 3 USB-C (up to 140W single, PD3.1/3.0/PPS/QC4+) and 1 USB-A (18W max). Included 6-foot 240W USB-C cable (braided nylon, e-marker for safe high-watt passthrough). All-in-one 160W output (dynamic allocation: e.g., 100W + 40W + 20W for laptops + tabs). UL-certified, with heat-dissipating fins; works globally (100-240V). Plug-In Perks (Zero Setup, Instant Charge): Unboxed, folded out the prongs, and daisy-chained my MacBook (96W via C1), iPad (20W C2), phone (15W C3), and earbuds (5W A) β hit 160W total without throttling. The GaN tech keeps it cool (under 110Β°F under load), and the cable's length reaches my nightstand without extension hacks. Pro tip: Use the HP Smart app or similar to monitor splits; it auto-prioritizes the heaviest draw. Daily Power Play: Laptop Lifeline: Pushed my 16-inch M3 MacBook from 20% to 80% in 45 minutes at full 140W β rendered a 4K video while charging, no dips. Samsung S23 hit 45W fast charge; iPhone 15 peaked at 27W wirelessly compatible. Tablet and Phone Tag-Team: iPad Pro at 30W for Procreate sessions + iPhone at 20W β both topped off in an hour, cable-free thanks to the long cord. Travel Tested: Tossed it in my Tumi for a conference β foldable design slipped into pockets, powered a hotel room setup (laptop + two phones) off one outlet. No sparks, hums, or port fry after 200+ cycles. Efficiency shines: 93% conversion rate (my watt meter agrees), and it's slimmer than Apple's brick but packs quadruple ports. Cable withstands 10,000 bends per specs β mine's knot-free so far. A Few Charged Critiques (For the Balanced Load): USB-A port caps at 18W β legacy for AirPods, but USB-C everything now. No velcro wrap for the cable (tuck it in the case instead). Full 160W needs all ports loaded smartly; solo MacBook gets 140W max (still blazing). The Amped-Up Wrap: If your chargers are a mismatched mess for laptops, tablets, or phones, this 4-port 160W GaN beast consolidates without compromise. Fast, foldable, and future-proof for PD3.1 gear β my desk's decluttered, batteries happier. 4.8 stars; it's the hub that hums quietly in the background. Charge smarter! Read more

The charger arrived as described on Amazon. The package included the charger, a USB-C cable for fast charging, and a small instruction manual. This fast charger has four USB C ports, 2 for cell phones, and two for laptops or tablets if needed. The fast charger is very compact. There is a folding plug on the back of the fast charger. It was fairly easy to fold/unfold. Although small, there is noticeable weight to this device. I was a bit nervous about plugging it into my wall outlet, but it stayed in place without issue. NOTE: this is NOT a powerbank. This GaN fast charger must be plugged into a wall outlet in order to operate. They tend to be more expensive than competing chargers because the technology required to manufacture them is more complex. They are however faster at charging, they donβt get βhotβ like competing chargers, and they can also be far more compact compared to competing chargers, which makes them convenient to transport. The price of this product at time of review is inline with similar GaN chargers. The charger worked as advertised, fast charging my phone, while staying very compact and cool to the touch. PISEN is not a brand that I was familiar with until recently. I recently purchased one of their CCC rated powerbanks that I am very happy with. This product appears to be a good build as well, and I look forward to purchasing more products from this manufacturer. Read more

This turned out better than I had thought. The charging sped is surprisingly fast. I don't measure it, but I will say that when used on an iPad, its noticeably quicker than the standard 65W charger that comes with the iPad. I was a little concerned that the design would leave the block flopping around while it is in the plug. This wasn't an issue. It stays in the plug solidly. Price wise, I think you are getting a lot for the money. Stuff like this is almost a must in todays power hungry hardware society. Overall, I think the average review rating for this is thing is spot on, its a solid 4.5, works well and feels and looks slick. Would recommend. Read more

Best charger I've ever owned. Yes, it's a bit of a wall wart, but absolutely worth the little bit of extra space it takes. You get the full 160 watts here. I am currently using this on a trip I took from the U.S. to the Philippines. I was originally taking two laptops with me, but decided on just one and accidentally removed the wrong charger when I took out the 2nd laptop. This puppy saved the day. It not only offers the laptop I took USB-C charging, but keeps it fully powered while charging, and charges VERY fast. Every device I plug into this charger charges much faster than normal on OEM and similar chargers. My phones charge much faster than I am used to. The laptop goes from dead to fully charged in what feels like half or less than what it usually charges, and I can charge 4 devices simultaneously. This thing has 0 performance or overheating issues of any kind. It's absolutely solid. Very highly recommend. I will definitely be purchasing an extra one. Read more

I have gotten more conscientious of what I plug my devices into. I have read too many stories about bad things happening with uncertified, sometimes even certified, batteries and chargers. This is a two-prong wall charger for a supposedly small charger that can do 160W. That already makes me not want to leave anything plugged in unsupervised. On top of that, there are no indications that this has gone through any safety certifications. It only lists VI and FCC on the packaging and charger (energy efficiency and electromagnetic interference), neither of which is a safety aspect. Read more
