I have tried several brands of pistachio cream, and this was not one of my favorites. The color is a bit too green to be natural, and indeed one of the ingredients is colorant. The flavor is similar to other pistachio creams, but has an off taste. I looked carefully at the ingredients, and the only one that I can link the taste to is the sunflower oil. I dislike sunflower butter, and this cream has a taste that is reminiscent of that. The ingredients listed online are inaccurate. The online listing states that pistachio is the first ingredient, but the bottle states that sugar is the first ingredient. There is also pistachio flavoring as an ingredient. The consistency is firm, and not pourable like the pictures would suggest. Overall, I will continue to use this pistachio cream as a spread, but will likely not get it again. Read more
Rich, creamy and full of flavor. I ordered this to make Dubai bars and then discovered I'm not that big a fan of Dubai bars. However, if you put the pistachio spread and some toasted shredded phyllo on chocolate ice cream it is amazing. It's the flavor I hoped for when eating a Dubai bar. Read more
