For the price, it's a great deal for console gaming and MacBook display. It's Hz are great, very consistent. After 2-3yrs of use, various hours, probably over 100hrs of use, it's still holding strong, colors are still good, 120hz on Xbox Series X Digital Version still performing well. Colors are brighter although I recommend looking up settings for the colors and such. Now, the most recent bad thing that has happened, after this much time of use, the screen flickers sometimes when it's too dark. But still, for 120-130?!? GREAT DEAL!! This monitor was super easy to get set up. It was a little tricky to understand the little joystick button for the settings since it wasn't familiar to me, but I managed to figure it out. The screen is just the size I need, and the settings were easy to change. The quality of the image is great and bright! The built-in speakers are good and loud enough for my needs, but I would recommend getting separate speakers later down the line if they don't fit your needs. Read more

I LOVE this monitor! I have had it for about 5-6 months now so I feel I can finally make a review. Speaker quality: - The speaker quality is the ONLY bad thing I have to say about this monitor, it is not the greatest and the sound quality is definitely worse than most monitors. HOWEVER, It was super easy to just buy some cheap speakers online and use those with it instead! Still much better quality than other monitors out there for the same price. Performance/Quality: - This monitor is in GREAT shape after 6 months of use, I use it with the pixio arm stand desk mount and it is the BEST combo! I purchased this Pixio PX222 monitor for an initial setup, and although I give it 4 stars, I am very satisfied with the investment, even after three years of constant use. Honestly, at first I had a hard time getting used to the 22-inch size, as I am used to larger monitors, but it quickly became an essential and reliable component for everyday use and casual gaming. What I really loved from day one and continues to be a strong point today is its design: the bezels are minimal. This gives it a very clean and modern look on the desk, and it's perfect if you ever decide to go for a dual monitor setup. The Full HD performance at 75Hz was more than enough to start with and has stood the test of time very well. If you're looking for a compact monitor with great design and solid performance at a good price, this Pixio is a highly recommended option. So I'd say I've used the set of these monitors long enough to have an accurate review of them. Overall they've worked pretty well for me since I bought them on September 26, 2021. Pretty good picture quality for 1080p pretty good for competitive FPS games etc with its 144hz & 1ms response time. But more recently I've run into the issue of it going completely black on me.. now I know that my new 6700xt isn't at fault with its drivers fully up to date so I proceeded to replace the display cables and make sure they had enough slack to not cause such blackouts while I was mid-game/movie/work-related environment; unfortunately, after taking all the above steps drivers, cabling, etc I still had the issue. Now it may not have been often but it was several times a week. Also when I have the monitor clocked at 144hz in certain games it causes any motion within the application to result in a black screen whereas repeated restarts would eventually fix it or lower my refresh rate down to a measly 60hz... which kind of defeats the purpose of my buying these gaming monitors. I started checking out the monitor's internal menu and noticed that the firmware was still on V1.0. I scoured the internet and pixios site and couldn't find a lick of information on the issue or the lack of updates. I proceeded to email their customer service to ask if I was just missing where the firmware was listed or if it was EOL. They got back to me and said they don't allow customers access to firmware or potential updates past what they're initially shipped with. I'm going to use these monitors til they die but past that I can't recommend another pixio product if they don't allow paying customers access to any kind of self-service support. I'm not shipping two monitors to who knows where for firmware updates especially on my dime. It's not realistic and not a good way to build more than one-off customers. Honestly the screen size is amazing! The settings will need adjusted as soon as you get it (at least for me) and I had to look up a tutorial since I wasn’t connecting it to my pc I was using it for my ps5. But once it was set up the graphics and everything looks absolutely fantastic! I’ve only had it a few days but so far I have no complaints. Just wish it came in different colors. A monitor with 144hz. Pairs well with the Xbox Series X console system. Maxes out the frame rate at 120fps. Which makes the games buttery smooth. I love the HDR feature. It makes the screen nice and bright. A perfect size for gaming in my opinion and it doesn’t strain your eyes either. It has a Display Port and 2 HDMI ports for the connectivity.
