Being an infrequent flosser, I've always had a problem with staining between teeth and buildup in tooth crevices. It got to a point where increased cleaning visits was recommended to me. Not wanting to pay for additional dental visits that would not be covered by insurance, I decided to research what my cleaning entailed and to add reasonable techniques to my routine. After reviewing what was available on Amazon, I decided to purchase this plaque and tartar remover as it was reasonably price and had all the features and attachments that I thought I would need. This product definitely worked really well for me. I used it with light pressure and made sure I did not linger more that 4 seconds on any particular area. I was able to go in between teeth and on exposed surfaces with no problem. Remember to use the right angle! After a few days there was a noticeable difference in the appearance of my teeth, which was surprising as I had gone to a dentist just before its purchase. Taking it slow, but thoroughly worked for me. Swapping between tips is not really an issue. I have adapted to using the mirror. I have not used this while traveling but expect that it would travel well as it holds it charge well (I am still using it powered by its initial charge). First charging took ~1.5 hours to complete.
