These highball "glasses" are really cute, I think they are much more stylish than typical plasticware. I think anyone who is disappointed was expecting the type of unbreakable glasses that you buy to use outside by the pool, but these are definitely more of the disposable type. Being that I recognize this, I am not in the least bit disappointed. They are comfortable in my hand and if I wanted to wash and reuse them I could, but they could certainly not handle a dishwasher, they would surely shrink and warp even on the top rack. The straws that they come with are big like smoothie straws, I don't feel like they are as compatible with these particular "glasses" as slimmer straws, but I will enjoy them nonetheless. I think that these will elevate your parties, and I recommend them for cocktails. They are fabulous for my cocktail machine, which our guests always love to use. So now I can just put out a stack of these "glasses" and it presents much classier than solocups, and much more convenient than real glassware. I think they are terrific! Read more

These Collins glasses are nice to have in such a large set. That said, they feel extremely cheap. I can see how they wouldn’t “shatter” if dropped—but a red solo cup doesn’t shatter either. They’re a good size, but other than that, I can’t rave about them. I do like the black straws that came with them, though—they’re more like boba straws than whiskey straws.
