These Wetviro platform boots are pretty awesome. I have about a 16-1/4 to 16-1/2”calf, and they fit great without them looking like they were digging in. I feel like they would stretch a bit over time too, so if your calves run a wee bit bigger like me, the zipper would get easier. I tried them on a few different times and it was easier to zip each time. They hug nicely from ankle to calf, no slouching at the ankle, which was what I was looking for. Even though the heel was higher than I anticipated, walking in them was not a problem, very sturdy block heel. Just know that it is a wee bit higher than some other platform heeled boots. Good cushion inside. I usually wear size 7.5 in flats/sneakers and 7 in heels because my foot slides down making them too big. But I purchased these in a 7.5 since the boot would hold my foot in place better. They were very cushiony and comfy. Even though it was a higher heel, I could probably walk in them for hours. I looked at many other similar styles and decided to go with these ones, I’m that one shopper that looks at dimensions, reviews and materials. I wish I bought them earlier this winter so I wouldn’t suffer on my heels, and the cold! these are perfect to wear anywhere. Expensive dinners, fine dining, club, brunch with the girls, a rave. Super comfortable and easy to walk on, they fit me good on the calves I have the normal size calves, but if you have thick jeans you want to fit under it won’t be easy. But if it’s just leggings or skinny jeans then you will be fine, you can wear them with wide legged jeans too. I’m obsessed. I’ll be wearing them together with a short silk dress and a long black coat to go for dinner and then clubbing. They give you height but the boots doesn’t look excessive, has the perfect shape on the heel and platform not making them look chunky, they look perfect, make you talk and don’t look cheap. Read more

The color is a beautiful velvet black, and I think the zipper quality is good. I did find issues with the shoe inserts that are glued down to the boot. The black fabric on them comes off and then the foam starts to shred into bits and pieces. I did buy inserts to put in them and now they are amazing. The inserts a I bought also helped with any wiggle room I had in the boots, which makes them easier to walk in. These are one of the best boots I’ve ever bought!! My calf’s are pretty wide, but if you zip them up at your ankle and then roll them up they fit snug and not too tight ! They’re very comfortable to walk in for hours and really make any outfit better :’) I’m 5’3 for reference! Read more
