I believe this is the second toy I've ordered for my 44 lb pit bull from Playology-- the other that I can recall off the top of my head is another rubberized toy, but it's squash flavored. I may have others but I don't remember them if I do. I was excited to order this rubber bone flavored like red velvet because I think it's adorable and I love Valentine's day, so it suits my aesthetic tastes (as far as they can be suited by dog toys). My dog loves both this one and the squash flavored one, and she is not a fan of unflavored rubber toys like Kongs because I guess she simply doesn't like the taste of rubber. I am a relatively new dog parent and I didn't know there was such a thing as flavored rubber for a few months, much to my chagrin, since I do have some concerns about our pup chomping on nylon toys and potentially breaking a tooth. Both the Playology toys we have pass the "bonk it on your knee" test, so I have no concerns about her hurting her teeth while chewing on these, and she seems to enjoy the flavors because she doesn't simply ignore them. I would absolutely order more toys from Playology, they ones I have are excellent quality! I just remembered the third toy I have from them is an electric cat toy that is also excellent. Would order again, no question. Also this one in Medium is an appropriate size for my pittie. Read more

Welp I think the pictures speak for themselves here! My two dogs already love this bone, and it’s entertaining to watch one of them give big puppy eyes to the other when they want it! This is the perfect size for my girls who are 44 and 55 lbs. they have fun picking it up and carrying it around and chewing on it - it is tough enough for chewing but soft enough that there is no way they are going to damage their teeth or gums. Perfection! Read more

My small dogs still managed to poke a hole through one of these, but I can tell they’re way sturdier than most toys. My dogs are aggressive chewers and usually destroy toys within a day, so I had high hopes going in. Even though they did rip a small hole, these still held up better than almost anything else I’ve tried. The double layer definitely helps. There’s a harder toy inside the outer silicone cover, so even if the outside gets damaged, it’s not completely destroyed right away. That makes a big difference. They also smell sweet, which is nice. My dogs have a lot of fun chewing on them and carrying them around. Overall, not indestructible, but much better than most dog toys out there, especially for heavy chewers. Read more

I gave this chew toy to my large dog and it immediately grabbed his attention thanks to the unique scent and sturdy feel. He is a strong chewer and this one has held up well, with the layered design giving him something satisfying to gnaw on without falling apart. I like that it feels solid but still has a bit of give, and the scent seems to keep him interested longer than most toys we have tried. Cleanup is easy, which is a big plus after outdoor play, and I feel good knowing it is made from materials I trust. This has become a regular part of his playtime and it has definitely earned its spot in the toy bin. Read more

Playology makes such great quality toys! I have two big dogs, and both are super chewers. This bone, like others made by this brand, are durable and damage-resistant. They can sink there teeth into the chewy outer layer without tearing it away, and the hard inner core gives it substance without damaging their teeth. This one comes in a red velvet cake scent that my dogs seem to enjoy, their other toys come in a variety of long lasting, dog pleasing scents as well. The jumbo size is just right for my 90 lb pups. 10/10 Read more

This is a fun rubber bone with a bright pink color that my dog absolutely loves. It’s the medium size, but even though she’s a large dog, she seems to prefer this size over oversized toys, so it’s perfect for her while still being large enough that I’m not worried about her accidentally swallowing it at around 80 pounds. The bone has a very soft feel, but it also seems durable and holds up well to regular chewing. We are very pleased with this dog chew toy, and it’s an average cost for a toy of this type. Read more
