PlayVital AlterGrips Protective Slim Case for Nintendo Switch OLED Ergonomic Grip Cover for Joycon Dockable Hard Shell for

I really love this switch case, it is the perfect color and I love the ergonomic grips! It wasn't too much trouble to put on the adhesive, but I could see how it could be challenging if you are not good with your hands or if you struggle with art projects/ arts and crafts. For me, I got this case instead of going for a switch skin or changing the front place, so it was a much easier and less permanent alternative. Only the actually switch console/screen piece gets adhesive-d on, the joycons just snap on. I did not use the provided button covers. At first I wasn't sure if I liked the ergonomic grips, but after testing out both I can say they do help compared to the standard grips. It's not like having a full on grip, but much improved over the standard and my switch still fits in the case. Dockability- Mainly I wanted to leave this review because YES the Switch is dockable. I would say you probably have to line the bottom piece up very well with the holes or you could infere with dockability. I had no issues fitting my switch into the dock and getting the switch to connect with the dock. I tried a couple other cases and this was my favorite because of the quality - many of the other cases snap on very delicately, especially for the joycon piece, and this one seems MUCH sturdier. I would also say the switch is a hard device to make a case for so I'm OK with the adhesive as it feels a lot more secure. The color is very nice, more of a sage green which is what I was looking for. I cannot speak on the removal of the case. It seems very stuck on there, which is good and bad. I think it will be possible to remove and luckily there's only a few strips of adhesive on there. If you are worried about removal I may suggest skipping the game card slot sticky piece as that one feels very stuck on there. I also like that with this case I can use the kickstand. Lastly - this isn't an issue for me, but with this case you cannot fit the joycons into the controller slider thing. Personally, I use a separate pro controller so I don't use the included joycon controller device anyways. Luckily, the joycon pieces just snap on so in the rare event that I do need to use that, I can just snap on and off the case. I do think its protective, if I were to drop my switch I could see the case potentially cracking, but would rather the case break than my switch. Read more

It have that nice feel like Those Joycon grips you get for free Like very alike so decent Make my switch look new after the original Discolored It have Does colorful buttons but only for one pair do yea Comes two set of grips but you can only use one of them at time So You can't use the other grip for another pair of joycon The application was pretty easy I have shakey hands like bad But I got it done nicely comes with extra double sided tape incase you mess up (Tip pull the Double side tape to remove the layer) Only bad thing I didn't like it wasn't packaged for protection as the case it self not very strong when comes out the box So it could break when Delivering It Fit for an oled the New switch Scratch resistance it white so I wouldn't see the Scratches anyway It could discolored soon like the picture but I hope not Read more

I've had it 8 months on my OLED and I have loved it. Sadly, I noticed today that it is starting to break. My switch spends most of it's time in it's dock, it's carry bag, or my hands. I don't let children play with it, it is very gently used, so to see it is breaking... is a bit of a let down. I really enjoy how I can still use the kickstand with this case, and it feels really nice in my hands. Fits my OLED perfectly. Even after the 8 months of having it, it looks amazing. The colors are holding up, it hasn't faded and has kept it's look very well. As for protection, it's ok. I haven't dropped my switch at all. As I mentioned my switch is typically docked or in it's case or in my hand. I play for a few minutes each morning and that's about it. So... it might be protective, I haven't wanted to test it. I might get another to replace this due to it breaking on it's own. Read more

Very nice, it felt sooo great when I first put it on and held it and it makes the experience of playing the switch way better but the only thing I don’t love is the button caps can sometimes be a little bit slidy if I’m like dashing in super Mario but other than that it has a great design and is a lot more ergonomical for my hands. Great quality and worth the price. Very easy setup and an overall great product! I recommend this for all the switch owners who want to keep theirs protected and more comfortable. Some reviews say you cant dock it but you can, all you gotta do is push it in and line it up and it charges good if you get it in there. The console cover is easy to take off but the joy con covers are a little bit more difficult. And another good thing is how it comes with extra adhesive if you want to take it off and then on again. I dont think it gives you enough, but it should still work. If you want to get the BEST console i cant really help you there cuz i havent gotten them all, but this one is definitely a good one. its not super clunky and plasticy like some.
