Not properly sized
The texture definitely helps with the grip. But the shape wise, it doesn’t really match well with either just the portal itself or with the clam shell I bought for my portal. The back piece is way too big that it ends up having wrinkles on it. It should have been divided into smaller pieces to allow it to be more suited to the curvatures of the portal. Good feel, a tiny bit tricky to put on, corners can peel up a bit
Overall these are fairly straightforward to put on. You need to ensure that your controller is very clean before starting, and you don’t want to peel up the edges and re-seat the skins more than once or twice - else the adhesive in that area will fail after a couple of weeks and you’ll be trimming that section off. That said - they do stick well for the most part, and provide great grip during gaming. Initially I didn’t think I’d like the grips on the trigger-buttons, but it’s a great upgrade in that area too.
