You can simply lay your controller down on your desk or table or wherever so this thing is totally unnecessary but it’s a nice aesthetic piece and I guess makes your okay area look tidier. Classic Hokusai design is a nice touch. Plastic is your basic average quality. Way more expensive than it should be but it fits the Edge controller perfectly. Comes with some rubber cushions you install yourself on the bottom to keep it from sliding around (why aren’t these pre-installed?) Doesn’t tip over and is sturdy. Read more

The stand itself is very lightweight. Once the controller is on its pretty balanced. Note 1. You have to pick up the controller er at the palm grip area. You can't pick it up from the top or else you'll pick up the stand too. It'd be useful to put command strips or something so the stand stays put. Or non slip something? Not a big deal for my use. Note 2. I dont think it'd be the best for multiple controllers. I bought this one because i play solo and want to keep the controller upright. On my desk. And i do like to shift it around. I charge it from the top usb c. However if you commonly game with friends this might not be optimal. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I like the controller stand. Is it necessary to have? No but having it seems neat. I'm no designer by any means but having this kind of frees up some space and in my opinion looks dedicated and tidied up. If you don't have the space to lay your controller, this is a option. It doesn't let the controller drag or touch the bottom. I went with the black cause well it's looks more fitting. I will say if you do the translucent, you can see the seam or where the molding ends just based on the other reviews. Other than that this is worthwhile to me so yeah I would possibly recommend this. Edit: On a side note here, if you modify your remote to have mods like paddles or have a silicone cover, it is possibly most likely won't be on there right. Read more
