This is a well-made belt with a double D-loop cinch closure. It is 1-3/8" wide (about 38mm). It has a piece of leather sewn to the end so it won't fray. The belt itself is sewn along its entire length with border stitching. The belt is also a little thicker, more substantial, than than some belts of this type, which makes it somewhat stiff. I do not find it uncomfortable but I am aware I'm wearing a belt. I'd prefer the belt to be a little more supple, so I'll deduct a star, although the stiffness does make it easier to slide the belt through the loops on your trousers or hiking shorts. the "double d" clasp is a simple and effective way to hold a belt in place and allow infinite adjustment to any size needed. the belt itself is thick and durable with minimal stretch and fit all the pants i've worn it with, and the weave is slightly beveled on the edges to reduce any chance of fraying while remaining comfortable if you sit in a car for a long time or are otherwise bent. might not be ideal for holding up a lot of heavy stuff if you have an EDC, but for general work at "holding up pants and a multitool, it looks smart and works great. This is a top quality belt and I will recommend these forever for other big n tall users. These are so tough you can be picked up using the belt. No kidding.
