REVISED: Upon further review... My original complaint is actually a feature for this light string and not a complaint. I thought the primary Christmas colors looked washed out but it turns out I needed to cycle through the functions again and wait to see the entire effect. There is a pastel setting and a primary color setting which makes a huge difference for Christmas lighting. The string also does a very warm white that looks classically Christmas in a very good way--warm and welcoming. So, I cancelled the return and they turned out beautifully. These look very solidly made and should hold up for the next few years of holiday use. Although these are "multicolor," the colors are not traditional Christmas colors. The colors are blue, green, yellow and orange and they are not that bright. There are different functionality settings for flashing and color changes, but they mix in warm white instead of having just color options. These didn't fit my needs and I am going to return them. These are great. Plenty of cord from the plug to the start of the lights which allows you to plug it in without lights dangling along the wall. Super lightweight and easy to add to my garland. Small but bright little LED bulbs means you can tuck them in the garland pretty well. I got a set of 200 for 24 feet of railing garland and it was perfect. Maybe a little long but I spent time winding them into the garland and it looks good. I like the ability to change the lights to different motion but will mostly just use solid. After searching in various stores and trying two different light sets on Amazon that didn't work, FINALLY we have a winner! These are controlled either with pushing a button on the plug or via an app. The app is great as you can customize what colors you want, speed, brightness, and it can even pulse to music. These work great. Despite what some reviews say, they DO hook up to Alexa. She can’t change the modes. She can only do solid colors and turn off and on, but the Tuya app can do the modes. Just pull out your phone. Voila! Read more
