I’ve now purchased 2 boxes of Shiny Star V off Amazon and both times I’ve had a pleasant experience. I usually pick whichever seller has their inventory already at an Amazon facility so I don’t have to wait for forever even if it costs a little more. Both times I’ve also received first run boxes including the Pokémon Sword/Shield code cards which is a big plus. Pulls were pretty good and everything was authentic/factory sealed. I do wish prices weren’t so high on Pokémon cards at the moment so these boxes would be a little cheaper but ultimately Amazon’s prices line up with other prices found on other websites and returns are easy. I highly recommend Shiny Star V for anyone who loves Pokémon and Japanese sets. This is one of the better sets In my opinion and it’s always great getting multiple holographics in every single pack. This set was definitely worth my money and there was no discrepancies or resealing as I had seen in previous ratings, my cards were all amazing and I’m super stoked about the Marnie I pulled, these are legit and my only dislike was that on the outside of the box there was a somewhat tear on the box itself, but the seal was still very pristine so I think it was just a bit damaged from shipping which brings me to I wish it was in a box rather than a loose bag, but other than that this was perfect! When I bought this I was skeptical due to some reviews claiming to have received boxes that had been tampered with. However I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was totally legit upon arrival. The box was a super fun opening experience and it’s one of my favorite Pokémon sets ever so I highly recommend! My only complaint is that the box was just loose in a fedex bag with no bubble wrap, but there was no damage to the cards anyway so that can be forgiven. Other than that 5/5 for me! Read more

I was really surprised by the quality of the Shiny V booster box. I acquired the 2nd printing as it did not have a code card but I really didn't need it. Pulled a few baby cards and full art Marnie and many Vmax card from the first box. Ordered a 2nd box and it was even better as the last pack in the bottom of the 10 pack booster held the coveted Charizard Vmax. Spectacular cards and artwork is worth the price. I'm hooked. Read more

Cards are legit. No tampering and everything was factory sealed. Didn't quite get the pulls I was hoping for. Pulled 4 shiny, 2 Vmax, 1 full art trainer and 2 V cards. Quiet pricey tho. Read more

Pull rates are insane, best pull was black/gold Zamazenta V along with tons of shiny SRs and FAs. Cards are beautiful - way better than English cards and much more fun to open. Read more

These high class packs are great! You always get something like a holo or better in every pack so they are great for kids or to give as gifts because there is no risk of them having bad luck and getting no good pulls. Plus, the quality, finish, and overall design of the Japanese cards is just better. Read more
