Pokemon TCG 1000 Assorted Cards - Pokemon Individual Card Bundle

I'm always leery of repacks like this, but in my case it was a winner. Cards are played but in very good condition. I got a total of 978 cards (okay I know it says 1000 but it is entirely possible that I missed a few in my count and I would imagine it's all done by weight anyway). Of these, there were 283 unique Pokemon, 67 total trainers and 48 energy. The rest were duplicate Pokemon, with no more than 9 duplicates of any one card. My cataloguing software estimates the value at $168. Of course you likely couldn't sell them for anything near that price, but it still seems to be a very good value overall. This is a fantastic way to get someone started with Pokemon, particularly at a moment when speculators are hoarding booster packs. I really feel sorry for kids these days that can't afford to put together a basic set to play with friends - this does that and includes some decent cards for future trading. Read more

I'm just getting started with pokemon with my 6 y/o twins and this was my first bulk set of cards. I'm estimating 75% pokemon, 20% trainers, and 5% energy cards. Almost all in NM condition. Few duplicates as would be expected, but overall a great buy for my needs. Read more

Out of the entire set, there were 378 dupes. Didn't count the entire quantity but by weight and visual there does seem to be close to, if not exactly,1000 cards. Surprisingly, only 9 energy cards in the whole set (with 1 of that 9 being a dupe.) Quality of the cards were near-mint, with just two cards a bit more poor as they somehow stuck together and therefore tore slightly on the face or back where they got stuck. Nothing special, no holos, but a good way for beginners or kids to jump-start their collection. I've ordered this collection TWICE n yes I had a few duplicates...but since you can use up to 4 dups...it's not so bad...what impressed me most was many good cards...like snorlox mewtwo n also stage 1 n 2 for evolution. Plenty of races n much needed energy n trainer cards!! I bought these cards on sale for 29.00...n I googled the value of many of the cards n I easily had a gr8t starter kit to go with my initial collection...n if you haven't noticed....pokemon has become VERY POPULAR ONCE AGAIN N SOME OF THE POKE CARDS (Like chairzard) are being purchased for 10 times i paid for the originals!!! N bottom line....I love collecting....I love memory n tragedy games n I love playing pokemon too....thank you to this company for delivering 1000 cards all in perfect condition....n gr8t for further collecting....ill be buying from this company again!! As a collector I am very very pleased I'm having to get caught up with 20 years worth of collecting that I went behind and this gave me some cards that I was able to use and a good 90% of them were not duplicates and what few that are I'm going to take them down to my local card shop and see if I could scrap up another handful out of that plus some of the other cards that I had that were duplicates from other purchases so that you know enables me to continue my collection this is the best route for me to buy cards because even though I love getting the booster packs and they're the best route to go to get the olive oils and etc but if you're catching up like I am why this is the best route to go and I wouldn't mind buying from this seller again especially because I'm trying to start from southern islands all the way up to the present and so forth so there's some gaps in my collection than they need to fill up and as far as going back to the base collection up to Southern Islands I'm only looking for holofoils so if I can't find them online through bulkpackaging like this. I don't mind riding the train down to salt lake to get them and so forth like that cuz right in the fast track is worth the trip and it's nice being able to not just hop on the train so anyways yeah this this is awesome and thank you to the seller high five and this I was naughty I got my Christmas early so it's it's nice cuz I'm kind of housebound and getting over surgery so this is keeping me from scratching where I don't need to scratch my belly but yeah I just had some surgery so using cards is is sorting through them is keeping my hands and brain occupied from you know I don't need to scratch anything got to heal that body thanks again! BUYER: Only purchase this if you just want a bunch of cards. Overall, my best guess on what I received appeared to be 20 battle decks of the same pre packed deck. Easily had 20-50 repeats of the same cards. I expected to get some duplicates, but this was ridiculous.. out of the 1000 cards, I probably only received 80 different cards with enough multiples to make up 1000. Like I said, it is almost like someone took all of the rares and holo cards from starter battle decks and stacked them on repeat. Not worth the investment unless you want a bunch of the same thing.
