Good decks

The Pokemon card game has definitely changed since I used to play! But I like the changes; there's definitely more strategy involved. If you're like me and haven't played the card game in years but are wanting to get back into it, these are good starting decks. These decks are each based around 2 EX Kyurems . The Black Kyurem deck is designed to have Magnezone load up Kyurem with electric energy. The White Kyurem deck has Delphox which keeps 6 cards in your hand each turn and has Chandelure which allows you to equip one extra fire energy per turn from your deck, while doing 10 damage to the pokemon it's equipped to. Each deck has cards to get energy from the discard pile since some of the attacks are stronger but require you to discard energy. All around, I think it's good strategy and good decks! Read more

This is an excellent buy for learning how to play the pokemon card game. My 7 year old son and I learned how to play the official game with the cards he has collected/traded over the past few years but we weren't quite sure how to "stack a deck" well. Powerful and well balanced decks. They're great for learning as there is an included sheet that talks about the general strategy behind each deck and how to use it. It's just a starting point and you can go from there but it's helpful in teaching beginners about strategy and that base numbers don't tell the whole story. Plus, dragons, so you know, awesome.
