Good pulls for both kids
My daughter and son both received this box set from their grandparents for Christmas. They said it was a great gift and yes I’m a bit envious I didn’t also get one! They got some decent pulls out of their boxes; Tapu Koko full art holo and an Iron Leaves gold card were in the one my daughter received. Plus a holofoil Walking Wake. Secret Illustration Rares of Pinsir and Brute Bloom were in the one my son received. The Secret Rare Pinsir card is especially gorgeous! I am considering getting one for myself before they sell out to see if the luck is consistent! Both sets had a nice pack of deck sleeves. The deck sleeves feel durable enough with a thick back and sort of a matte texture. They have a nice pokeball design, although it would have been nice if they looked different so the kids could tell their cards apart. This is a small complaint; we just keep them separate for now. A nice addition is that this comes with a hard plastic gem display case for a single card. The quality of it Is nice. It has a stand for display and a magnetic closure, to protect your best pull or at least the EX card of Tsareena. You will still get a great looking EX card if you don’t get good luck in the packs like we did. I expect this nice tough case will keep a card “pack fresh”, or in a gradable condition, as it appears much like a PSA style case with cut away corners to avoid the corners of the card taking damage. I believe the card set included was Scarlet and Violet: Temporal Forces or Ancient Origins, based on the pulls the kids got. I would have to double check. I do recommend this set as it’s a decent value. Read more
